They litteraly do the same thing as Rengar, the onyly difference is, after they are done, they dont have to run for their lifes, they push one button and can say "later suckers!"
And a good Zed can easily do the same damage as Rengar!

Dark Nephthys5 votesProbably because Rengar has a stealth and can instantly kill squishes in under a second, basically the second you see him jump from stealth is the second you die. Zed and Leblanc are annoying to but at least you can see them coming. Though once the new AD assassin item comes out, Zed is going to be a lot stronger and we'll probably see a lot of complaints about him to.

My problem is, people didn't have this respectable way of thinking like yourself when making QQ threads about those 2 champions. They literally wanted them removed from the game, yet now that people are bitching about rengar and compare him to other assassins, Zed and Leblanc dont look so bad. Thats what bothers me.
Titanium701 votesWhat people (including my selfe) makes raging about Zed is not his assassasination potenzial. It's this super obnoxious Laningphase! The Ults panic button is just a high point.
The problem with Rangar starts with them same problems of other Assassins. In late game you either Counter-Build them (Which is BS) or you die! There is 0 Skill included whem playing against those Champs! Rengar is a little special case because he just ignores the stuff you're trying. I'm Diamond - the League where you could expect an atleast OK Skill-Level. And yet... people dying with all their Abilities and Items UP. The avarage reaction time is something about 200ms... 200ms is the time rengar needs to kill you. Including ping and delays... you cant do shit! And this make people really mad. Where is the point of playing, when you get greyscreened with zhonyas in your inventory.
That's not chess (I love chess - but this is League!) where you trade just figures. 'Take our ADC we Take your Rengo' Said ADC may wants to play this game as well? With a decent amount of action and reaction?
These whole Assassin class... they are just the counter to fun in this game for everyone who does not play them. And they are META, should a supposly High-Risk class really be the most effective tactic aviable? I dont think so - still Riot does everything they can to buff them back to Meta the second they're in danger to fall out... pathetic. In League this whole High-Risk High-Reward got dumpstered. Immobile Champs are High Risk now. Mobility Champs are the standard. Thats so NOT good!

Håppy3 votesYou can SEE when Zed is coming at you, you have a time to react. A possibility to avoid damage and get away. Rengar is burst in .01 seconds, not even exaggerating.

Håppy1 votesI don't see how that's relevant because no assassin is going to be jumping on a tank to try and assassinate it. Not Zed, not LeBlanc, not Kha'Zix, not Yi, not Talon, and not Rengar. Don't be stupid and try to dismiss the damage Rengar can deal while offering no opportunity to react (Unless you never leave a pink ward, in which case you get to see death approach because you don't have the damage to kill him before he gapcloses) by saying he won't do it to a tank. No assassin will do it to a tank.

Raoul1 votesA well played Zed or Talon is way harder to play against than a Rengar. I will take a Rengar over a fucking Zed any day. At least Rengar is dead meat after he did his job, while Zed is just laughing behind his team, throwing shurikens.
Miraweave1 votesBecause those champions have counterplay, for the most part. Rengar jumps on you out of stealth with essentially no warning and kills you before you have a chance to react unless you have flash. And even if he doesn't have the damage to kill you, hard CC from stealth is equally deadly, and you can't dodge a point-blank bola from stealth.
Basically, you can do something about other champs. Rengar just appears and you're instantly dead with minimal warning and minimal counterplay.
