Nerfing mages makes perfect sense :)

Playing Fizz in the mid lane, and I get a double kill (enemy mid laner and the jungler). My brain then thinks some logical strategy that was viable last season, which was roaming bot lane to snowball my lead.

Bot lane is not warded so I just walk there and find the enemy Kai'sa and Janna overextending. So I just ult Kai'sa and go in with my Q followed by a quick E. Janna Immediately shields kaisa and ults the moment I have landed from troll pole.

I am now finding my self 1 screen away from them, and something in particular catches my eye. Even though i did my full combo, Kai sa is at full health.

They are flashing their well played emotes at the same time, when suddenly Janna start moving towards me and presses W.

Tears drop from my eyes, as I flash over the wall and go back to mid lane.

The FF vote comes 10 minutes later.

Your mistake was trying to power through Janna's shield. Janna has one of the strongest shields in the game, but it 1)can only be used on one target, meaning when she sees you coming and drops the shield on her ADC, she is now defenseless. 2)has a long cooldown, meaning if you simply waited until her opposing laner baited out the shield before you went in they would both be defenseless. Stop trying to 100-0 both of the enemy botlaners together by yourself. It isn't possible to 2v1 without a significant advantage and the balance team would have to completely dumpster either ADC or support in order to make it possible. Besides, Janna's ult counters Fizz. You think two kills should put you so far ahead that you can spring out of the bush and burst down the squishy who's under the protection of your counter?

And no, roaming bot immediately after you get your first kill (or pair of kills in your case) without even going back was not viable last season. You had to go back, spend your gold, and then you wouldn't be able to roam because your opponent would be back. That's how it was, and that's how it should be. One good fight should not be "lane over, now go interfere in other lanes while your lane opponent doesn't follow because he knows you can now one-combo him".

And yes, I'm aware that two kills is practically lane over for bot. That is a huge problem, but no bigger than two kills being lane over for mid. We all want to finish our laning phase without getting roamed because our teammates gave up one kill each. That's not a problem unique to mid and it's not a problem that can be solved by nerfing a class.

i honestly think when mage sget nerfed we will get the bursty marksman played mid or assasins or tear meta cos mana or ivern becomes meta again cos he can give a copy of blue to mages HMM

Why should you be able to 1v2 a Janna + ADC? I don't get how you think that should be a thing. Roam where you have an ally who can follow up. Don't try to 1v2 like an idiot, especially when one of the champs specializes in peeling and the other champ specializes in damage.
