I'm usually the most optimistic and accepting of change in this game, but honestly, this shit is broken. queue times are brutal, people are accidentally dodging all over the place, the whole fucking system feels janky and unfinished.
this isn't even adding the ranked teams queuing as 5 into solo queue players and kicking their shit in.
DynamicQ isn't letting me play this game, it's just making me upset and frustrated.
I really want to see Team Builder back - I don't want the long, miserable experience of a Draft for a normal game. So, I feel your pain and have regretted playing for the last few days because of the exact same reasons.
Bought a new champion I wanted to try out; so, I take the advice of other players and set mid as my secondary role to try and guarantee my chance of playing that champion. I'm given mid and can't play my new champion mid.
When I buy a new champion, I want to play that champion.
When I want to learn a champion, I want to play that champion.
If I want to test a new build on a champion...guess what? I want to play that champion.
I don't care if I have to wait a little longer for a team.
Remove secondary roles. It's not like the wait for teams has been reduced at all.
Remove dodge penalties for normal games. I don't want troll picks on my teams!
Bans don't belong in normal games. Stop making everything based on ranked play!
I was really excited for the new queue but it honestly feels that even though they see there are a lot of problems, they are gonna shove it down our throats anyways. I think they would be better off just taking it down for a couple weeks to address a lot of the issues then giving the playerbase a fresh look at it rather than trying to fix it while players are just getting more and more frustrated.

well new champselect is really just a fat bulging cancer that isnt metastasizing yet so you can cut it out but the dynamicQ is eating through the entirety of ranked. not having penalties for duoQ anymore is cool and all but this is just taking it way too far.

It sounds like they should keep the Teambuilder style queue for Blind pick games because the relevant complaint I'm seeing here is that players want Teambuilder so that they can blind pick a certain champion and now there is no queue available that allows them to do that.
As for using Dynamic Queue for drafting and ranked games, I think the queue dodging problem will go away once players have actually adapted to the new queue (which they haven't yet). And I think that, in general, it is still too early to bash the system for player failure to adapt.
