Junglers are a Toxic Role

Riot should seriously consider removing Junglers from the game. They are problematic and generally lead to an un-fun experience. Furthermore, they undermine a sense of fair play and honour in the game.

The whole point of the role is to ruin 1 vs 1s and true tests of skills in the lane. Having people lose lanes suddenly because it turned into a 2 vs 1 is not cool. Its not fair sportsmanship. Imagine a Trial by Combat where suddenly an archer entered and shot one of the 2 combatants, giving a sudden free win to the other contestant.

The whole Jungler playstyle is stealthy, sneaky, and cheap. Junglers ACTIVELY try to undermine other people's lanes and/or try to sneak into the other Jungler's camp and ruin their game experience.

Its become a meme that when a Plat/Diamond goes surfing in a lower elo as JG they will deliberately hunt down the other Jungler, make it impossible for them to farm at all, and just wait and kill them over and over. This in turn leads to the other team flaming each other and collapsing while the victim's protests that its not his fault fall on deaf ears. Though to be fair, its hard to be sympathetic since they chose to play JG too (and they were planning to ruin other people's lanes if allowed to... its kind of like a Joffrey killed Ramsay unfairly type of thing, hard to really feel sympathetic either way). When this happens, you can't help but feel its a bit unfair. If a Plat destroys a Silver in lane in a open and fair contest, then that's cool and we can learn from that. But there's just something really unsavoury about hiding in a bush and jumping on people over and over and over...

Jesus christ i'm used to being called a noob and a camper when somebody opens up to be the freest gank of the game, but that's next level.

You're probably the kimd of who flamed jungle for "never ganking top lane" after hes just finsihed ganking bot and mid because you refuse to play safe and hug your turret.

No actually, I'm the type of player who tells the JG not to come even if there is a good Gank opportunity because I feel that it would be dishonourable.

If I win lane, I want to win on my own terms and based on my own 1 vs 1 ability. I don't want to cheat.

Dishonorable? Lol I feel like I just got hit in the head with a stupid stick. It's a team game man like for real. If you want a 1v1 game of pure solo skill go play statecraft or something. This is some flawed thinking and I'm sure youre the cause of losing some of your teams games because of this. Lol good luck man

Okay then. We're putting barriers like the ones by the fountain at the beginning of the game across all the lanes for the first 20 minutes. This way, nobody can enter or exit the lanes to gank. The only possible way to get to a lane is walking there. By yourself may we add; we'll also be adding a new feature where players can't be 1000 units from each other.

Stealth removed from the game, red trinkets removed from the game, fog of war removed from the game, bushes removed from the game, and the game automatically pings you if enemies are nearby and provides a cursor pointing towards nearby champions. We've also made it so if you're not a top, mid, or bot laner, you can't do damage or cc to the enemy team. Finally, monsters no longer generate gold. This allows Junglers to continue doing all the fun things they love while reminding them not to be cheap.

Memes removed from the game, as well as Plat/Diamond players. If you are not in a lane, you may only stay on your side of the map. Rebalanced jungle so may only have time to farm.

This in turn leads to the other team flaming each other and collapsing while the victim's protests that its not his fault fall on deaf ears.

Deafness removed from the game. All text in team chat now scrolls across your screen in bright neon blue or red letters. You may no longer mute players or pings.

Though to be fair, its hard to be sympathetic since they chose to play JG too (and they were planning to ruin other people's lanes if allowed to... its kind of like a Joffrey killed Ramsay unfairly type of thing, hard to really feel sympathetic either way).

+200% Friendship ratio on Sympathy.

When this happens, you can't help but feel its a bit unfair.

Unfairness removed from the game. All players are the same level and all have the same gold. If somebody dies, everybody dies. Towers die mirrored to each other to increase fun. All players get blue, red, baron, and all dragon buffs.

If a Plat destroys a Silver in lane in a open and fair contest, then that's cool and we can learn from that.

Matchmaking adjusted to pair SIlvers against Plat.

But there's just something really unsavoury about hiding in a bush and jumping on people over and over and over...

Removed jumping. You must now walk moderately.

Junglers are not toxic. Without them, lanes would be boring and only about what champs are best for 1v1s. Stronger champs like Fizz have to trade their mobility for strength in lane. Playing around a jungler is part of the skill in laning, because it is easy to just play a strong dueling champion without an escape, like Xin Zhao, and just win lane every game, without having map awareness or warding.

lol

except counter lanes exist so if it wasn't for junglers the game would literally be rock-paper-scissors xd

As annoyin as junglers are to play against (especially in the case of bein camped) it does add unique depth to leagues gameplay because of how much impact they can have on a game. The only thing i can gripe about is there's not enough vision given to a player to reliably protect themselves from ganks. #BRINGBACKGREENWARDS

^either that or buff how long a single stealth ward lasts before timin out idc lol
