What if we made it so that you could remake if your team had 2 smites?

For whatever reason, negligence, trolls, or otherwise.

Yes, it'd be alot harder to play off meta 2 smite comps, but personally, i think it's healthier than tilting your teammates by forcing them to be OK with your pick

Well people would take smite if they thought they were going to lose

in which case they get punished with the loss anyways, as im assuming they are the one taking smite in a non jungle role

why would they take a loss? so if the client bugs out and doesn't update the summoner they get punished... if they simply forgot to change summoners they get punished even though they would have given their all despite taking the wrong summoner spell... We might as well just punish everyone who doesn't take flash. We should also punish every single ADC that doesn't take heal. Every single top laner that doesn't take teleport. Every single support that doesn't take Exhaust or Ignite and every single Mid laner that doesn't take ether teleport, ignite or ghost. I mean we should punish people for dumb reasons right?

First, you changed your argument.

Secondly, if the person took smite to get a remake, then they would be taking a loss, as they would be the reason why the remake occurred, hence them getting the penalty, just like if you had an afk.

The only reason why I think something like this should be implemented, is because from my personal experience, more often than not, people took smite in a non jungle roll to troll the team

No, I like smite. I take smite support bot lane with relic shield so my adc can't steal cannon minions from me.

I have run smite as a non-jungler before. Works for some champs and comps. How about we get to remake if the Support takes Heal as a summoner skill? Or if the top laner isn't named SRO and doesn't take teleport?

Like i said, i know its bad for off meta comps, but all you need to do is convince your team that it works in champ select

I can honestly see your view, but there are many situations where people would have smite selected, and very few of them are ones they should be punished for. Like I said, though, I will be perfectly happy if they do it, as long as we can do a remake any time we see a supp running Heal or a top laner not running TP.

There's too much of a grey area for abusing.

Meanwhile dodging champion select would work most of the time.
