He has no mobility, and now they've added almost a full second to his stun before it can stun.

His W was dependent on his stun to land, or an incredibly stupid opponent, splash is too small for team fights, and the delay too much.

His Q is now a joke.

All in all veigar is fucked.

They need to at least double the splash radius of his W and make it instant like Brand's W.

His stun needs to be put back where it was, or remove Q and make it a mobility spell.

Everytime someone who dies by veigar, whether KB or assist, he should get some serious AP. Get rid of the minion farming BS.

Actually it's over a second to dodge if you count the cast animation.

Veigar is now a Brand with a worse, unreliable stun, a w with twice the delay and a bad passive. Why Veigar when you could Brand now that even his q is a skillshot?

Not to be rude, but... This is just silly. His Q is by far the strongest skill in his kit and his W has massive damage. Doubling the radius and making it instant would make Veigar broken OP, and then he'd get nerfed into the ground and would never be touched again. You wouldn't want that for the ~~Adorable~~ Awesome Master of Evil, now would you?

I have tried Veigar for myself, and I agree he still needs a touch before he'll become as fun to play as he was, but reverting the stun or, as you said, doubling the W radius and making it instant, is NOT the way to go about it. I'd say some proper buffs to him would be lowering the delay on W, maybe increasing the Q range by a very small amount. Around 50 units. Half a Teemo for the ones who measure with that. That'd be good enough, really. Other things he might need help with would be his mana, but... There are items for that. There are no items for the W.

I am at a standstill with this. I like what they did..and dislike it. I wish I didn't buy his nice skin though...I wont play him the way he is now. item 3070

Everyone agrees the new q is amazing actually

The problem is how shitty his e is now. His E was what protected him.

He gained no compensation other than q buffs for losing his E, and they nerfed his fucking R for some reason.

Riot please fix this shit this coming patch. Give him a cc INSIDE of the cage, and undo the R nerfs PLEASE

I'd figure with his q its easier for him to farm and get more stacks but now he will have trouble out trading point click champs like Annie, Kass , Katarina and so much more not to mention its even harder now for him to fight mobility champs like Nidalee. Not to mention Spam champs or champs where you smash your face on the keyboard and get a kill like Akali, Katarina.

Well, I'm not an expert of Viegar, but I believe his Event Horizon has a .25 second cast time, so I think it actually is 1 second before the stun gets off.
