Nobody wants to play that lane anymore because no matter how well you do, even if you get two top towers and two kills, you still can't carry a game vs a fed MF who is 7-0 at 10 minutes in.

Since they buffed ADCs because of a meme, (you know which one), the game has warped around ADC

Jungle meta: tanks that can peel for the ADC and get picks for the ADC, or assassins that can oneshot the enemy ADC Mid meta: assassins that can oneshot the enemy adc, or utility mages for the ADC's benefit. Support meta: anything that can peel or get picks for the ADC Top meta: duskblade users that can oneshot the enemy ADC, or tanks that can peel and make picks for the ADC

Wrong. Split-pushing top laners is still a great strategy if you know your way around. It's what helped me get to diamond.
