A Rioter Basically Said "It's Not My Job" When I Told Him To Check Out My Team Mates Chat Logs

A few games ago I got into a game with someone that was on my last team and he was very tilted and toxic. Then the next game he was on my team yet again, in pre game lobby he was saying "I hope you end your life IRL" and some other toxic stuff.

We load into the game and he afked. There was a Rioter on the other team and I asked him if he could check out our Janna's chat logs, he told me to kms irl. The Rioter responded saying "Report him, send a screen shot to riot support, and that should take care of it". As im writing this now 12 hours later, the player is still playing League.

Do you honestly think they let everyone who works at Riot just look through chat logs and punish people willy nilly?

You're expecting something to be done in 12 hours? Also no it probably wasn't that guy's job -- not everyone who works at Riot is on the player behavior staff -- that'd be stupid.

Your post makes you sound like you believe you are entitled to a lot.

Entitled much? Not only did you expect a Rioter who was just playing the game to do something that legitimately wasn't their job, but you expected them to review your ticket and issue a ban in the middle of the night? Maybe, I dunno, Rioters sleep? Maybe they have a long list of reports to go through and won't get to yours until later today? Give them at least 12 hours of business hours before you complain.

I'm leveling up an account, in a game yesterday I had a Renekton that was pretty toxic during the game, calling teammates retarded among other things.

But then post game lobby (after we lost) dude was literally telling everyone on our team to kill themselves, saying he hopes our families die, and was just spamming the chat w/ rage and hate that was WAY over the top, reported him for verbal abuse w/ the comment "extreme flame, check post game chat"

But upon checking he has still been playing, no punishment.

The inconsistency and just flat out poor execution of riot's punishment system is really damn frustrating

Did you report the person?

Also if the rioter on the other team wasn't a part of player behavior, it's probably best he not poke around in other people's jobs.
