Why Do I Even Bother Playing This Game Anymore

Im a Jayce one trick top who made it to diamond 1 last season, this season I cant even get TO diamond elo. Im a top lane main, and can win lane a huge majority of the time. The problem with this, is that I win lane, but bot lane loses hard and a fed jayce cant fight a fed adc that has their support around all the time.

So to fix this problem, I try to play bot lane. Last season I made it to Diamond 3 playing nothing but Jayce ADC, so I know the matchups and how to play it.

Get in my game, win lane. Guess what, game is lost because top and mid feeds. This is seriously the most annoying, stressful and frustrating season I have ever played in. The fact that Riot doesnt even acknowledge and fix any of the bullshit going on in this game is beyond me. Its as if theyre purposely trying to kill off their one and only game. The fact that every game now has one team dying over 15 times in 20 minutes is beyond stupid. Hell I played a game last week where both teams had 20 kills at 15 minutes. This game is just a chore to play now, your impact is literally 0 unless your team has developed the 1 brain cell of learning how to play safe.

your not alone i was a nasus/jax 1trick last season d2 now stuck at plat1 like what you are saying is so true i feel meta champions are too much compared to the players skill like its so sad this game is dead

if i can be honest, if someone gets a kill, they'll often just snowball the fuck out of control, guaranteeing them a jungle gank for a second kill under tower, and then they can just solo their lane opponent under tower with little to no threat

"Oh whoops, zoe hit me once with her .001 second cooldown sleep, now it's time to go 0/49 because imma get 1shot"

You're playing a lane bully who's prone to being weak after laning, and you're crying you can't carry games reliably.

That's pathetic, you're just playing on your level, but you will deny that cause "muh rank muh pride blah blah"

Who said that a season 7 Diamond player is a still diamond skill-wise in season 8? Pro players are falling down in every region.

"Toplane has no impact when botlane feeds" goes bot "Botlane has no impact when mid and top feed!"

So let's say in your perfect world - you're jayce - you win lane and the rest of your team feeds. Despite that - YOU (the lane bully) get to carry 2 dead weights in a 3v5 and win reliably.

Why should you invalidate the enemy team's victory in their own lanes just because you won yours? How is that fair that 2 fed lanes will lose to 1 guy who won his lane? A lane bully ontop of that who's supposed to win lane.

These posts always confuse me, because if your entire well fed team would lose to 1 guy 1v5'ing your entire team you'd call bullshit - but that is what YOU'RE asking for, only when you're the one who gets to 1v5. Team games are a double edged sword, you relay on your team and they on you - literally every team game is like that to an extent.

So is the proposition that you get so unlucky that more than half the games your bot lane feeds? it should be relatively even. If it isnt even, then keep playing. Eventually averages always even out. If you don't want to put in the time thats ok too, do what makes you happy. But just know diamond elo is there if you want it.

ever try non lethality jayce? lethality jayce falls off too hard and doesn't really stack up to more Garen reliable Graves sources Irelia of Lucian damage Fiora

there are still hyper carry builds and mid-late game builds

try conqueror-triforce bruiser build it's actually quite enjoyable and stacks up

I'm not sure how to tell you this, but if you are winning your lane as Jayce, like, that's literally the bear minimum requirement for playing Jayce to begin with.

That's the struggle of playing someone who falls off super hard like Jayce. For 3 years I was a Rengar otp, but I recently stopped playing him in favor of more reliable, versatile, and flexible champions such as Jax RekSai Warwick XinZhao , and my winrate has improved drastically as a result (but of course, the definition of reliable can vary from player to player and elo to elo). I struggled a lot this season, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. That said, it wasn't necessarily me that was the problem; rather it was my champ pool. Now then, going back to Rengar, one major problem I had was that I would constantly get really far ahead, but lose anyway because somebody couldn't carry their own weight (assuming that I could even get a lead), or in other words I was having the same problem you were having. My solution? Pick champions that can actually be team players rather than constantly selecting selfish solo carries. Anyway, that's just what worked for me. I haven't played much ranked this season. Instead I've mainly been killing time in normal games, but with this new strat I'll give it another go in season 9. Either way, we just can't give up. That's the most important thing.

The Problem is how much global gold objectives give early on (especially FB tower) which makes it so if another lane loses and loses tower the entire team gets a boon basically for that making any work you did on them to stall them mitigated.

And thus thats why games tend to turn into arams and snowball once a lane is gone
