Remember that patch when Baron was actually useful? Then Riot decided his damage was too high instead of exactly how he should be so they lowered it?

Shhh Nunu was supposed to be fair and balanced. He is supposed to be able to solo baron.

Not like old nunu could do it aswell...that's one of nunu's core strengths and always was(he also has infernal+mountain drake to boost his damage) How fast and healthy he does, now that's on baron beeing pretty damn weak...
A few things that are important to understand here (Not defending this, just explaining it):

Baron Nashor is not actually that durable. He has 12600 health on spawn, which is only about 12 Consumes and a Smite, plus other damage Nunu deals.

Baron Nashor is difficult for other champions to kill because of a debuff called Baron's Gaze. Baron's Gaze halves the damage that Baron Nashor's targets deal to Baron Nashor. However, as with all other buffs or debuffs, Baron's Gaze does not affect true damage. Nor should it. If Baron's Gaze affected true damage, people would always lose the Smite war to the enemy team on the other side of the wall.

Baron Nashor is not a burst creature, he deals large amounts of sustained damage that rack up over time, particularly because his corrosive attacks lower a target's armor and MR the longer they are engaged in combat with him. The reason for this is to make lifesteal in particular quite effective on him, and is one of the reasons that marksmen are so valuable for taking objectives. Other forms of sustained healing, like Consume, are thus equally effective.
That said, I usually couldn't solo Baron as Nunu until around 27 minutes before the rework (I would always take baron at 20 as a team, so 27 minutes was about the time I got my chance to try).
He built only armor and what damage does baron do?
I made a post a while ago after playing nunu on the pbe and 1v1ing baron AP and even tank build lmao.
But besides that im pretty sure nunu was always able to do so.
encase you didn't notice , hes a brand new re-worked champion , all his skins are currently available in a bundle as well. riot has a strict system that people ALWAYS fall for. a new champion comes out , its strong as fuck , people buy the champion and the skin , then they nerf it next patch making it significantly less appealing cause they've already made their money from it. a old champion is re-worked , its strong as fuck , riot offers all their skins for a limited time , sometimes separably sometimes in a bundle , people buy the champion and the skin(s) , then they nerf it next patch making it significantly less appealing cause they've already made their money from it. give it one - two patches tops and nunu will be god awful , after riot gets their money.

Yesterday my jungler and I invaded and killed a nunu on red at lvl 2.
He respawned and solo'd infernal drake
