I still dislike the new Skarner

I think he needs a rework

I used to play Skarner a lot. No I don't play him at all. Tried a couple games. Really disliked. Was pretty disappointed. He's weak outside his zones and OP in them.

The rest of his kit changes I can deal with. But the pet rocks suck.

I find him even more fun. The best juggy rework imo

I kinda like it, and I did play Skarner pre rework. Before both reworks. Not saying it's perfect, or that everyone likes or has to like it, but I personally find it pretty fun.

Skarner was one of my favourite jungler before first rework, and and i still liked him after it. Now for me he feel really bad outside spires, and OP in them. I feed Skarner should use concept of ramp-up fighter. You know, he fights for longer, and he's stronger. His Q before this rework worked like it, and i really liked it. Sorry for my bad english, it isn't my primary lanuage.

While I don't mind the reworked Skarner, I do feel his Q is lackluster now.

i played him a lot before rework, and i was thrilled when battlecast finally came out, but i think i have played him like 1 time after this mini-rework, i just find the whole spire thing odd.

i liked getting 1 attack speed item to lower Q cooldown and spam Q for more stuns. devour skarner was kinda fun

No, I agree with you OP. He didn't need either of his reworks and I cried when they changed him. He has been and will always be a pretty underpicked niche champ only used by a handful of die-hard fans... and riot did all they could to upset those fans and chase them away.

Then they did it again a little later with . Still underplayed. Still underpowered. Her fans hated that rework.

Then they did it AGAIN with . He's a problem right now, but so were Cass and Skarner immediately after their reworks. Soon he'll be nerfed and he'll be underplayed and underpowered again with the only change coming about from his rework being that the old Morde fans lost a champ they liked to play in a misguided attempt to appeal to the average player.

The average player spams whatever is flavor of the month for being OP. Stop trying to appeal to these people! They only care about picking the champs that the meta/the pro steamers/the LCS has picked FOR them and then trying to ride those champs to easy wins. Please stop destroying the champs people love to appeal to those people Riot. Cass, Morde and Skarner were NOT causing problems. They didn't have insane winrates... either high OR low. They didn't need to be gutted and stitched back together wrong.

I like the change to his stun. With so many 3 hit passives, I was glad to have a step away from that.

Please take away the rocks though. I don't want rocks.

dpends to what iteration you compare him. I think he's a bit more fun(though still far from great) than he was after the first two rework atempts, but he's far from original Skarner #Bring back the Brackern

well yea, playing around the pillars is somewhat forced/odd...also, still missing the good old ap-skarner top.

At the very least can they remove that spire gimmick or make his q more fun? They moved his entire kit to his most boring ability, his e.

I have to admit, I like him a bit more now. Before, he was just kinda... generic. You didn't really pick him for a reason other than you wanted to. He didn't have a way to stick out. Now he does. Now he has a unique niche, and he excels at it.

Isn't he like... exactly the same but with better mana costs and cool mini objectives? WTH?

I haven't had much of an opportunity to play him but I like that he has actual scaling instead of trying to make a 150 base damage q and a 500 flat hp shield work for the whole game. Front loaded stun is nice too.

Does he actually play very differently? My impression was he's roughly the same except with an instant stun and pylons

I really used to like playing Skarner, I even have his Guardian of the sands skin. but now, I just don't feel like he's fun to play anymore. It sucks, I really liked playing skarner

The same can be said to Darius. It just seems like Riot won't give 2 flying cents about it.

i don't think skarner is fun to play against.

Every single game i play against a skarner they always focus me with there damn ult and it doesnt matter what role i play. Ive gotten so used to it now that i started to get QSS as second or third item every single time and they still try and ult me.

I just don't understand there are 4 other people and i always have to get ult'd. Even when it doesn't make sense to ult me or i come in late and they save it just for me.

My friend even spectated my games and he thinks its just funny.

It doesn't matter. Far less people played Skarner than Mordekaiser, and Riot is denying that he exists right now. There is no way in hell they're changing him anytime in the next 80 years
