Why do people *STILL* don't understand this very simple mechanic of Bot lane?

It's ridiculous how after almost 2 years since the support item changes people STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU GET FULL GOLD if your support last hits. Heck, since recently you even get KILL CREDIT FOR IT! It shows on your CS! I mean, all I want is enough gold for boots and a ward, is it that hard to let me last hit (FOR YOU) that canon minion? Whenever I go for a Relic last hit, I ping it. And I ping it. AND I PING IT. And they still, magically, somehow fail to understand this very basic concept. Am I doing something wrong? Is it just in lower rankings? And finally, can I get a champion which can snare his ally under tower so my Lucian doesn't try to 1v1 the 12/2 Vayne?

Also late-game the execute range could be higher.

Had a Taric support me in a ranked game.

He pinged every cannon minion, and I made sure that I didn't steal it (yes, the relic shield support is entitled to the cannon minion if he has a charge, not everything is mine).

He fucking carried me like a good support does.

The best is when the adc and you go mid. You try for the cannon but the midlaner and adc fight for it because neither wants risk not being the closest to you.

I don't trust Thresh players with cannon minions, the number of times they don't realise he doesn't have the execute passive and hits too early happens way too often.

I tend to ignore when a Thresh is trying to last hit for Relic Shield, because 70% of the time his Bronze ass is going to miss it and fuck up my cs. Otherwise, I just really don't care if the support gets the relic or not when I'm full health.

Tahm can sort of keep the adc from being dumb. But if you do the moron usually rages at you for keeping them from getting kills (they definitely wouldn't have got and would have died trying to get)

I feel you, i ping the cannon minion.... have a relic stack. and my adc decides to ENSURE that she/he gets it.

Idk, my adc usually understands what I'm doing when I start auto attacking minion. Now the real dick move is when a vayne or some other champ knocks you away from the cannon minion before you kill it.

I personally find it hard to trust supports with the last hits on the cannon. If you want it, take it but I won't pause to risk you missing it.

I remember once I had 4 stacks of relic shield for about 5 minutes because my teammates would all destroy the waves before I could cash them in. Watching Ez ult a wave that he and I were right next too was just pain. I'd keep typing "I HAVE RELIC SHIELD!!!" in the chat but I always got ignored.

The only time i got to use the charges was during a TF and the enemy Mid laner and my Ez were the only two left besides me and I kept hitting minions to give ez more health because I got ignored super hard when I was OOM that game.

as a adc main i see a lot supports that goes Thresh support with item 3302 and doesn't know that he can't excute so he would repeatedly hit the minion until its dies to another minion

Why not just make a support that can literally control his adc. Like no shit, I suck dick at ADC and yet I'm still not nearly as stupid as some of these "ADC Master Tier Smurf Mains" I run into.

I've had experiences where I see they have relic charges, they're beside a minion, so I don't attack the minion, and then they either attack too early, or don't attack at all, and we both lose money.

It's supports who either forget they have relic shield, or who don't communicate the minions they're after, that screws it up for supports that actually try to coordinate and cs with relic properly. Granted there are terribly dumb adc too, but all it takes is one or two bad supports with relic to make an adc have little to no faith in any support's relic usage.

I just hate those guys who can't lasthit worth shit and still go relic on thresh. Coin exists for a reason, the active is probably better for a pick and disengage support too. For every other support you almost always give them the stacks in the earlygame but midgame pushing the waves faster with your midlaner/adc(if they have waveclear) might be more important than than more gold on your support.

If you are talking from a thresh player you're better off not using it on a cannon. You mainly want to use the Relic charges for the heal and not just the gold. yes its nice if you have an easy cannon, but normally I just go for the easy hit to get the heal off since a few extra gold isn't a huge deal overall.

Overall though I'm not seeing many people who actually have this misconception. Most of the people i play with are actually smart enough to know this passive, but its still hard to train yourself to not last hit. I know I do it a lot as an adc even though i know that my support has charges. Its just something you have learned over playing the game and its hard to turn it on/off especially if you played before these support changes.

I think face of the mountain execute range should be global, going to the nearest damaged player. So if you're bot lane, and you see that ahri is having trouble mid lane, bam she gets heals out the rear.
