Can we finally buff Braum now?

Well, Riot finally got what they wanted with a major drop in Braum's pro presence. He has not been picked once in the entirety of the the Worlds 2019 Group Stage, and the one game he was picked by Isurus gaming during the play-ins, he lost.

I have been a Braum main since basically I started playing the game 3 years ago, and I have never struggled to get results with him more than I have in Season 9. I understand the reason him and Tahm Kench were gutted was due to their pro presence but Braum was never as oppressive as Tahm Kench in pro play, nor do I think his kit is too problematic to buff.

We allow top pick ban presence supports like Rakan, Thresh, Nautilus and Pyke to sit at or above 50% WR with exceptions to Rakan due to his high skill floor, yet Braum has been a bottom 5 WR% support for almost the entire season.

Can we at least get an acknowledgement from the balance team that they will at least take a look at Braum in their next balance meeting? I know Braum mains are an extremely small percentage of the player base, if at all represented, but I would just like to be able to pick Braum again at least as a counter pick into the champions he was meant to counter, hard engage.

I can remember back to Season 8 MSI, when Braum was considered the answer into Rakan. Now Rakan is considered a bad matchup for him. This just doesn't sound right. Whenever the enemy team wants to pick engage supports, the possibility of being punished with a Braum pick should always be a threat in my opinion, otherwise what is the point of him as a champion.

I really want him to be in a good spot again. His lack of presence at Worlds 2019 should be enough to at least get the ball moving forward. Thank you.

I'd be up for a Braum buff but only after they bring Ashe more in line. Otherwise, Braum/Ashe could be a massive terror and it would, likely, just lead to Braum being nerfed again. :(

Braum is in a bad place right now, I do agree he should be buffed in some way, I just don't know how.

At least buff his survivability. He dies way too fast despite supposedly being a "tank".

Braum won't get buffed because he is not flashy, doesn't have a hook and doesn't have the mobility to zig zag across the map. He doesn't fit Rito design philosophy for LOL atm.

Maybe if he farted fireworks out his ass everytime he took a step and played the URF theme every time he ulted Rito would pay attention to him.

He will be fine if anti-poke/passive sustain were to ever receive the help it needs. Health Regen is ass, Specters is ass, and Doran's Shield is a walking joke.

As someone who secondary mains Braum, he’s a very good soft counter to hook supports which are meta as fuck right now and I think he has room for minor buffs such as base resistance or small ability buffs. People saying Braum is cancer when he’s mostly disengage are apparently fine with a spell thief brand solo carrying bot lane lol

Braum as support is more oppressive than any other tank support who doesnt have HOOK, why? 'cause he just touch you one, ur adc pew pew pew Stun for 1 - 1.5 sec with 8 sec cool down, then he can use his Q to slow u down, at least Tahm Kench needs to 3 hits u in a row by HIMSELF so you could get 3 stacks of his debuff and then he CAN EAT you or stun if he uses Q, so Braum better be like this or even more nerfed since he as champion requires 0 skill to play with him oh and let's not forget his combo jobo E W to save his team or adc.

Bot lane doesn't need any buffs. If anything, nerf the others. This game is already badly dominated enough by bot lane as it is.

He's the most picked champion of all time in pro play for a reason

That being said I don't personally think he's that problematic or cancerous to play against

The supports you mentioned are countered by Braum, because hard engaging on Braum is suicide. Braum is countered by poke heavy champions. Braum's problem is that he doesn't mix with every composition well, but that's not something you can actually alleviate by buffing.

I think Braum is in a good spot right now, balancing between being good versus AP/healers, ranged comps, and against some tanks.

Tbh, they should do something to move away from tank supports; they seem overwhelmingly superior to other options.

Braum only really needs one change: ACTIVE: Braum propels ice from his shield in the target direction, dealing magic damage And slowing the first target hit by 70% for 2 seconds, other targets are slowed by 50% decaying over two seconds.

With that one change braum goes from a one trick pony who only works with zippy, mobile marksman into a champion who works as a frontliner capable of setting up picks and going into a solo lane in order to be a strategy pick, since braum doesnt counter anyone other than supports.

Same with Alistar, though he had atleast some minimal presence at worlds. But still low prio pick in pro, poor performance in soloQ, all while beeing a great counter tothe currently dominant hardengage, especially rakan, so he's right there with braum.

Buffing tank items will just push the already S tier tanks into broken tier and most likely result in a tank meta. I do agree they need to rework relic shield or something, but in this particular case the champion needs a buff rather than his itemization.

Hi, i am a noob but i would really love to play braum and am finding it very hard because most adcs seem to one hit me and other supports are much easier and better to play in my opinions, and i was thinking (could be a stupid idea) but would it be possible to turn the shield into toggle and make it drain mana instead, it could go on cooldown at end of toggle and possible bloxk the first two instances of damage instead? just an idea, note that im not exactly a pro league player and am actually very new
