buff swain

Swains W was nerfed and riot just left him in a terrible state. his mana usage is already a pain in the ass to try preserve and trying to farm with him is the worst thing ever without having to use your abilitys and even his passive doesn't give back enough mana to even trade with the enemy especially if you're against a zed and you can't get zhonya yet or even build into something thats useful to help you survive. I used to love swain but since the pointless W nerf on him and how hes been left alone with nothing done he doesn't even feel like he can do anything against anyone now. If you say that his W was OP because it lasted 2 seconds ekkos stun lasts 2.25 and is much bigger.... its stupid that the only AP mid laner you can play who riot actually wanna keep in a good condition is ahri

Well the nerf indeed was pointless. But actually I'm glad they kept Swain Late untouched. You can still hardcarry games if necessary, but you have a pretty rough time to build an advantage early on.

Concerning Swains Mana: No, this permanent game with your Manabar is something I really like about Swain and the only thing that keeps him balanced. Seriously buffing his Mana useage might break him, a Swain without Mana-Problems in his current state is broken!

Swain still is the Master of Mid-Game. He can easily recover from a 0-2/0-4 and can be unstoppable if your Jgl was smart enough to grant you an advantage, or helped you warding the lane.

And btw: No matter what you are playing against, you NEVER rush Zhonyas on Swain! Seekers, maybe! IF you fall behind! You either go double D-Ring ->Seekers/Negatron -> RoA or you go D-Ring -> Catalyst -> RoA. OFC this is just theoretical, ingame you should adapt your build.

Disagree.

He has lots of pros and cons, making him pretty balanced (if not OP imo).

The biggest weakness I encounter is playing against competent AD mids that rush Executioner's Calling.

Tip: I always max E first and then most of the time max W against less mobile enemies or Q against mobile enemies or players I do not feel I can land W consistently. Also, Q is instant meaning you can use it to last hit. Most of the time I go double doran rings for OP mana sustain.

EDIT: Also, only having 1 game played does not seem like it gives you enough credibility to talk about Swain's balance.
