why do we lose champion mastery when transfering?

ok so originally I posted this on Boards feedback because when I posted a ticket they told me to but some reason now It got deleted because I put it in the 'wrong' place so i guess its a repost....

So, I submitted a ticket asking why do we lose our champion masteries, but then after awhile they told me that they couldn't really pass the "Feedback" even though it was a general question, but it really doesn't make sense... I can understand why we would lose our honours (Teamwork, helpful, etc). But champion masteries is ridiculous. Firstly they encourage us to keep playing the same champion(s) over and over again, and are rewarding us for having such a high mastery with a champion we always play, yet some how when we transfer they're okay with it all going, making us having to work for the masteries again. It really annoys me that if I wanted to transfer to another region to play with my best friend, I have to lose all of my champion masteries that I've worked for, and now I'd have to work hard for it all over again, we really shouldn't have to lose them like we lose our loading screen borders since it's something we have earned after playing a long time.

Presumably it's similar to ranked not transfering and various other things, in that it's region specific. Different regions may perform differently skill wise (and, y'know, do) so a gold player in NA might be a bronze player in korea for example, which is why rank doesn't transfer.

In a similar capacity, the champion mastery scores you get each match are based on your performance relative to all other players on that champ/role combination for that region, so what could have been a string of S+'s earning your mastery ranks in NA might have only been B's in another region where the relative performances were better.

I expect the mastery levels will still be there if you ever transfer back though (similar to your ranked position neglecting decay), so it's not like it's lost forever, it's just on a server you may not care about anymore.

Is talking about Champion Mastery "Feedback" about the "Boards"? It was in the wrong place.

Follow up on it; Somethings get a form response. So reply to the ticket so you get a person who is able or authorized or whatever to talk about it.
