Question about adc buys?

I have been told many times about different things to buy during game. I know that you shouldn't buy the same thing every game, as that would result in losing games almost always.

I have been told by a plat player that I should always rush ie early because it is unmatchable by enemy lifesteal and damage etc. I have seen many high elo streamers go vamp septor with double dorans instead of buying a bf sword. I am just so confused on what is the right thing to do and when to do it.

Everyone has an opinion and honestly, they are all probably right when it comes to Double D's, Vamp Scepter, or BF first. It all depends on how the lane is going. Top streamers are up against other high ranking players, where Sustain is king more than the big damage, whereas in lower ranked play getting fat damage first to win trades - also, look at Runes. If they are running Flat damage or penetration and then getting Vamp, makes sense. If they have life steal runes, benefit might be in the early IE.

Personally it depends on the champ. If I'm a poke ADC - BF all the way. If I'm depending on my attack speed, it's all about the vamp. I don't main ADC by any means so others opinions may differ.

Depends mostly on what champ you're playing, but for most IE rush is standard.

When do you rush damage items item 1037 item 1038 and when do you buy sustain item 1055

If you're having a rough time in lane, double dorans blade can turn the lane back in your favor - but if you're winning lane and out trading your opponent, or if you have a sustain support, the double dorans blade is unnecessary and a waste of money, just build damage if you're winning lane.

It depends on how much gold you have and how close the lane is when you back. If you don't have much gold and it's really close item 1055 can save your butt. If you've a bit more, but still not enough for BF, then item 1053 But if you've the gold, then item 1038 is probably the single biggest power spike you could ask for as it can cement the lane for you.

not even close. ADC builds are super stale and the only item that ever changes is your defensive item.
