Playing the Game v.s. being a "League Player"
After so many years on League, I've realized that I don't enjoy playing the game itself quite nearly as much as ideating on how to improve its flaws and make it even better. I've made my share of mistakes and done my share of things I shouldn't have done, and it feels like League has always evolved with me, along with its things it should not have left alone and unchanged. It's always been improving, and I really like that. Not many games and game companies really care about their players like that to constantly put so much effort into making the game itself better.
I think that's the main reason I still play League, even when I find certain mechanics and systems way more fun in other games. There's just no one game out there that I feel iterates upon itself in a sufficiently short timeframe, as if it were some self-adaptive self-repairing advanced machine of sorts, that it still feels like the old game while also being slightly new and exciting to play. That being said, thank you Riot. Thank you fellow players for playing the game and lowering our queue times (by being present, hehe). Thanks for it all. I shall continue posting so long as I have the opportunity to in the future.
On a side note, I shall post a short "paper" soon, on a topic about League that I think we overlook. It's quite important, as the better you get in League, the more apparent and relevant this topic becomes.
Thanks, see you soon here and on the fields of justice.
