Whatever happened to the new player option to autobuild items at base?

what do you mean "auto build " items?

we want the game to buy and build items for you so you dont have to?

shit why not just create a computer program and have it play for you to and make it dodge all skill shots and make sure you land all of yours.

That was a thing? Why'd they remove it? That would have been so helpful when I was really new and learning the controls was more important that learning what items to build.

i think it would hinder the learning of players. at 1st look it seems helpful for the game to be autopilot but for 3 seasons now they have dumbed and water the game down so much. that people arent learning arent getting better. they cry til riot makes it easier for them.

if i dont have to learn the game from all aspects i get lazy and expect everything to be done for me so i can "have fun" instead of taking the time and trial n error of learning a complex game.

people want the game to be like checkers so its easy for every one. and skill dont matter. when its more like chess. where you can learn the basics , how pieces move and what you need to do to win but only the truly skilled players master the game and rise to the top of elo. ( now you ask why da fuk did this asshole bring up chess... well riot stole the elo rating system from chess where it was created to rank and score players based on skill with a numerical value )

It will help new players and my best assumption is it will come back at some point. I do think they should slowly ween the player off it though and then eventually kick them out at around level 10. They should, most obviously, be able to turn it off if they so choose.
