Morgana's Ultimate can be made into a non-ultimate ability to reposition her identity

Among all, Morg's Ultimate has been meh. Her ultimate was once ult-worthy back when champions did not have so much mobility to escape her ult, and not so much burst to kill her before the chains land the stun.

Morgana is now a Q binding bot and E shielding bot. Not to say she is boring, but she isn't much other than her Q and E. W is one of the most useless spells in the game (ShhhEzreal ), while R is just a meh zone control tool.

What I propose is the Galio treatment. Give Soul Shackles (R) a radius and stun duration nerf, and make it into a normal ability. That makes her a balance zone control support, with a healthy long-delayed zone control to peel for her ADC, and a Spell Shield for incoming CC. Practically, it would work like a multi-targeted Karmachain (W) that is balanced by a far longer delay.

That being said, her new zone control will be really strong so that they might have to nerf her other abilities, probably lower Q root duration. Which is great, to reposition her role so that she is not so reliant on being a Q bot.

Any thoughts on this?

No, no and no. This would completely kill her midlane, don't forget many Morg players play her there. Also w is fine damage wise on a rooted target

I stopped reading here, you don't know anything about Morgana if you think this.

Morg's ult isn't meh, it's literally a "gtfo asap" zone. It's even more stressful than Fiddle's ult imo

Her ult is one of the best to combo with other AoE ults, but you don't see it that much in solo queue.
