This is the worst thing from them to date.... and, lately, that is saying A LOT.

I would much rather be grouped with a team of four people who are already working together, than be grouped with four random strangers, each who think they're going to have to "carry all these scrubs"

I know they said 5%, but that's if it's 5 man premade. If there are 4 man premades, which there will be, that one person just got nut kicked so hard. At that point, it's not even solo queue for him. That sucks
Finally, I never understood why I couldn't bring my adc AND mid friends it seems like whenever one isn't there the rando in that roll throws. Explain why this is bad solo queue is not fun as it is all this will do is make it better cause you get get carry squads. It also kinda sucks when you have to choose, good friend comes on "hey lets duo I can play now!!" "oh shit I just started duo with somebody else..." what is the logic? are they trying to promote monogamy?

Another horrible idea from Riot that kinda breaks the game.
Consumer: Hey Riot we do not like duo queue people in our games.
Riot: Ok, we will add 5 man premades to your queue. Enjoy.
Typical league community... Sees something and immediately thinks it will always be negative... Don't realize they are part of the problem they see...

Idk, I doubt that there are groups of 4 people out there that hate the idea of some stranger winning their promos so much that they will all take a loss and 25 minutes of wasted time just to ensure that said stranger (that they will never see again) does not succeed. Sure it might happen to someone somewhere, definitely not any more often than your team getting cleaned out by an elo booster. You can't balance the online experience based upon the worst thing that could possibly happen to a single person for a single period of 20 minutes.

I was hoping they'd remove duo queue and they go full blown opposite.
What makes you think you're special enough that four people would drop a game because of you? You don't mean shit to anyone on this game.
