Brand Midlane

You should add a Farming Tool to Brand Mid to make him back where he belongs . All Brand Players pref to play him midlane where they can farm till they can 1v9 the entire enemy team , the problem is he can 't farm like other champions bcs his AP scaling is rly low and he has not a Farming Tool (like Annie Q , Cassio E ) that make him enough strong to shine during midgame. So make SIngle Target E a Farming Tool and Make Brand Midlane good again . You can do it while you 're doing the JNG Brand Buffs

Ive played brand mid a lot and personally? I think the only buff he needs to become relevant again is a passive change.

Id say keep the explosion, make it 2 seconds to detonate instead of 3, BUT have no scaling on it, and make it a flat dmg number. Like, say 8% of max hp, not as strong as what it is currently, but give the scaling back to his DoT. That way, you can keep the aoe explosion, but have brand be what he used to be like and actually have a presence in mid lane without having to use all of his shit to do maybe a half hp bar of dmg.

He would be able to rely on his DoT again rather than try his best to shoot all his spells out before he gets obliterated in a fight, especially since you can miss 2 of them or have really bad luck with ult bounces. Fights where this happens can make or break a brand, depending on if hes allowed to play the game or not.

I also say this because with the amount of mobility and dashes in the game, its actually surprisingly difficult to land a q if it isn't point blank, especially if you are going for a stun since the enemy knows that you are trying to go for it. With this buff hed actually have a chance to do dmg in lane but also still be relevant lategame. Thoughts?

I agree totally .
i have so many ideas to bring back him midlane but atm the best long run idea is give to him an easier way to farm , so atleast he can take his items fast enough to be relevant like the others champions .

I think he farms pretty well imo, the main issue is he cant get close enough to farm half the time due to all the dash champs or poke from longer ranged mages, i think the DoT change would help that in when they come to poke you, you smack them with a dot that hurts way more than usual, and it gives you time to farm in the meantime. Sadly the only way his abilities are going to get a ratio buff is if his passive explosion gets nerfed, so im not sure it will happen. Could reduce the mana costs though, it is a bit high and the whole kindling thing doesnt really give much mana back.

Kinda funny you mentioned that, since most of his abilities have stayed the same dmg wise, atleast ratios, and his e even got buffed. I know it was stronger when he didnt have the explosion passive, but i think he took a massive hit mid when they nerfed his 4% hp dmg to get him out of support cheesing.
