Friends, Summoners, gamers, lend me your ears… (A Sona/Riot Irritation thread)

I come to bury Sona, not to praise her. The evil that women do lives after them; The good is oft interred with their bones; So let it be with Sona. Yet Riot says she was broken; And, sure, they are honourable men. I speak not to disprove what Riot spoke, But here I am to speak what I do know. Bear with me; My heart is in the coffin there with Sona, And I must pause till it come back to me.

Tl;dr In a recent thread (which I provided a link too) Riot Jag provided some insight into how exactly he and Riot games valued the input of us players and those on the PBE (hint hint, its none) and that the changes to Sona are going live no matter what, even with community dissent. He goes on to say he values good communication and he hopes to MAYBE return to Sona in the future.

This is blatant ignorance, after weeks of radio silence from Rito in regards to Casseopia and Sona.

Riot seems to show little value for its player’s opinions (ESPECIALLY those on PBE).

I won’t argue for and against Sona as others can do that far better than I. However I am saying that Riot’s community interaction has been awful this past while, and that in regard to Balance and Gameplay, they rarely stick their heads in threads that bring up very valid critiques of certain champions. Usually fleeing after holes have been shot in their arguments, if ever showing up even then.

Red’s will say how they love learning about interacting with the community, then spit in your face by ignoring any feedback and pushing poorly thought out changes to live (except God forbid ) Why have forums if you won't even listen to what we have to discuss? (before you say "they do listen" I mean listening AND ACTING on that gleaned information).
