Does fizz's ult jump to nearby enemies??

Im not sure if it was ever said or not if it was i dont remember. But i have noticed alot of times that a fizz will miss his ult but then the fish will like leap to the champion fizz shot it at. So does it work like as long as the water around the fish touches the champion then the fish just jumps to them?

There is a circle that shows you the area in which the fish will still attach to you even when missed. If you stay out of the "water" the fish wont jump to you. Step in it, and it jumps. It's the same as it always was but it now "hops" instead of instantly being on you and they now show the danger zone.

yeah that was added, the whole thing was that the farther he throws it the bigger that hit box gets, not just the size of the shark but the throwing hit box as well.
