Whats the counter play to zed?

Okay just going to throw this out there is a decent counter to zed but his ult cooldown at level 6 is 120 seconds. ( Dont know if its been changed just looking at lol wiki)

Zhonyas has a cooldown of 120. But zed can build cooldown for his ult you cant for zhonyas meaning that atleast zed has 25 seconds to go in on you.

Okay lets for say zed is bad at skillshots? It doesnt fucking matter because with energy he gets to throw out as many as he likes and god forbid you get by his shuriken or slow your dead.

And you cant ward against him if your botlane either because of this cancerous item that needs to be removed

And you cant just all him or else he will just one shot you.

You cant gank him Cuz of w

Whats the counterplay

At least give zed fucking mana so I can punish someone that misses 5 q's

from my experience the best champions to handle zed/counterplay him

Vladimir Swain Chogath (yes chogath mid) I'm not going to say zed is balanced and you need practice BUT you can pick these champions up and use your minions to lower his q damage if it hits you etc..

Each of them have their own abilities to either kill him or prevent him from killing you but you need to play them to understand.

Vladimir vs zed: zed ults vlad pools once vlad is out from pool zeds r is gone and vlad can r-e-q ignite and kill him (If he used his w and has no flash to survive that)

Swain vs zed: Zed ults swain ults make sure you land E and w q to sustain yourself from the dmg he just did to you.

Chogath vs zed: zed ults cho w q e and if he's low enough you can eat him.

These three champions have one thing in common and that's Decent HP/little beefy to survive his burst with armor or without armor tbh I've done that a couple of times but depending if it's not a good zed, I hope this helps you in your future games against zed.

You play Leblanc. You proceed to poke him to death with Q and W combos. You can even use your R for poke because it has a super short cool down compared to his R. He's at a disadvantage starting from level 1 because you are ranged (you should be very dominant throughout this match up barring some JG intervention).

Post 6 you have plenty of tools to outplay him. Easiest thing to do is to poke him to about 50% health before launching all of your abilities plus Ignite (he dies 100%). If he initiates on you at any time you can hopefully W away and throw a chain back at him. Plenty of tools to outplay. Plus if you play it right he should always have less HP then you at this point in lane.

He can't afford to roam when you've got priority. If he leaves, he risks getting 1-2 EXP behind you. In an assassin v assassin match up that's BRUTAL.

Usually in 2 v 2s with JG fiestas, you win because you are Leblanc.

Zed easily shoves in LB though. Especially once she starts to dig deep into her mana pool

that's why you don't "dig into" your mana pool. You manage it so that if you ever reach less than 33%, he's within kill range.

plus in terms of minion wave management and positioning with your abilities to control the waves... you should have the edge because you're a ranged farmer. If he's farming or pushing with Qs you should be able to punish him when his cool downs are off.

LB cant push lane because her waveclear is her damage too. So if hes smart and steps outside of minions, she has to choose between pushing and fighting. Zed doesn't have to make that choice.

LB W takes a lot of mana since you usually max it first.

Tanks are a good counter. Malphite and Sion perhaps? Really mobile mages are great, like Le Blanc. Tricky makes like Lulu, who can turn him into a squirrel and knock him up as well! Annie can reduce the damage she takes and throw a bear stun! 🎆
