I think yasuo is OP

Now hear me out. Every game I play against him is a loss (i've compiled this from months of games and what lane he's in) and I've tried more than a few champs against him in different play styles each and every time I play against him he just tanks mid lane like it's nothing. The main reason I've found is his god damn tornado ability whatever it's called. Knocks you up then he can just go in for the spam while you can't do anything and bam you're dead. Is it just me who has this problem?

he is not op. stop getting hit by skillshots dumbass. and punish him when hes getting his 2 stacks to even send the tornado

also fiora/kayle/malz will shit on him all day.

He is not overpowered currently, now broken which is a different thing entirely yes.

Yasuo is a noobstomper champion and is easily countered in high elo

the game isnt balanced around someone who goes clarity on fiora in a bot game and goes 6/10 im sorry

Matezoide9/14/2015, 11:16:12 PM3 votes

Nobody likes Yasuo, regardless of his current balance state.

http://champion.gg/champion/Yasuo

average winrate is at 48% with 16% play rate. according to these stats he need buffs. your personal experience with him doesnt matter. if you lost a lot of games against him, then you didnt understand the champion.

i recommend playing him yourself to undertsand his weaknesses.

He has too many abilities in his kit to survive, like with ekko. Full dps and still too much hard to kill with endless dash, wall, and passive barrier.

People who counter Yasuo; Fizz, Annie, Zed, Diana, Lee Sin. There's a common connection, none of them (except for Lee Sin which just takes understanding of the character and possible uses) are difficult to play. And All of them but Annie are a champion that gets within Yasuo's face and just simply deals more dmg and faster than he does. He's all about setup, all of them are just pure melee-except Annie-burst. Yasuo is HIGHELY effective on being an assassin, and that's basically it. He doesn't do much else, you just need your jungler to camp your lane and play one of his counters, the point is to Stop him from getting all of his dmg too early. But be warned, he will ALWAYS do a lot of dmg after Stattik Shiv.

Trinimortal has a good video on Yasuo which you can use to learn his weaknesses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNPktI93N6c

I can't quite make a judgement whether he is or not.

He is a highly effective glass cannon. Am I right? When he's in and there's no creeps for him to dash through he cannot escape easily. Likely die. Vulnerable to cc but can often out-damage to survive. Likely to die here too. He'll wait for the right time to fight. He won't engage teamfight first. Yes?

He's not overpowered (anymore,) however, he remains to be extremely toxic with his broken and overloaded kit.

i found zed counters him, windwall? cant block your shadow, tornado? jump to the shadows. lv 6 get ult that yasuo needs a knock up for plus you can poke his sheild down with q

Robbit Mang9/14/2015, 10:32:14 PM1 votes

you can actually just qss the ult off and kill him pretty easily. he still gets the apen though

If you are having trouble dealing with Yasuo, try playing him.

Then you can see how your opponents handle you.

Decrit9/14/2015, 11:06:51 PM1 votes

Well yes, it might be OP

In the sense, do you feel sometimes as the wind follows you, or maybe you have some kind of sword at home or a brother with which you think you will have a fight soon, or did already fight?

bonus points for a ponytail.

Streeton9/14/2015, 11:14:41 PM1 votes

cc him down and just play aggro in lane if you are ranged.

Mr Broken Wings9/14/2015, 11:53:55 PM1 votes

I roflstomp yasuos personally, hard. Dont know what that hype is even about. Last time the yasuo went 4-18, op is something else imo.

Hey Im Will9/15/2015, 12:24:49 AM1 votes

Yasuo isn't OP... he doesn't have a very strong early game at all. His damage and effectiveness is all based on how quickly he can get Shiv and IE basically. Don't let him get into his build by picking a good early game champion and pressuring him a lot in lane.

JedenVojak9/15/2015, 12:46:15 AM1 votes

His tornado is very highly telegraphed. If you were hit by it, you were not paying attention.

Play Malhazar, he has no projectiles to block, and just hang back.
