Ryze Root vs TF Stun

I just had a question. I play this match up a lot and i get that his root longer bc of his combo but what I dont understand is why the range is so much bigger. For a point and click ability I feel like there should be a lower range. IE TF, Panth who jhave point and click stuns.

Ryze's Rune Prison has the 25 more range than TF's stun. I think it's a fair tradeoff, considering TF

has a stun, which is better than a root
has a stun on a lower cooldown than that root
has a stun that lasts longer than that root
deals more damage with that empowered card

While Ryze has

a root which has a slightly longer range and is instant

TF stun lasts far less time than ryzes snare.

I'm not sure if you are joking or not. Twisted Fate has a stun which lasts 2 seconds. Ryze has a root which lasts 1 second, doubled to 2 when empowered. But an empowered root requires a spell flux before hand, and by that time, you would have landed your stun before he could land his empowered root.

If you want disregard my points to keep thinking that Ryze is broken, go ahead. I don't care what you believe.

Your argument: Why does TF have a longer range than Fiddlesticks fear? TF should have his range nerfed to Fiddlestick's range, because both of them are targeted CC. You understand how you sound?

TF stun lasts for one second. The if TF and ryze walk up to each other in lane and try to stun each other ryze stuns first bc his range is higher. Both abilities are the same at their core so why does ryze have more range. No reason to get defensive and nobody said ryze is broken. GTFO with your snowfllake self. It was just a question

Ryze can also get a burst of MS and a shield after rooting so it's much safer in general.

The conversation here is about the root, not the rest of Ryze's kit. You could also argue TF is much safer in general, due to his stronger poke.

With how the folks on the boards are whining you'd think ryze W suppressed the target for 2s and 4s when empowered lmao.

And also that ryze had as much range as syndra. Its ridiculous.
