@RiotRepetoir, I can get your goal with LCS, but why does the game have to be heavily team-oriented?
One way or another, I can get why you are doing changes to champions based on their performance in the LCS. You are doing it to keep it fresh and that pros don't constantly pick/ban the same champion every single time just because they are strong there. But there is one thing I don't understand, why is the core gameplay heavily around working together with your team instead of being less around that?
Now many of you will probably answer: "Because it is a 5v5 game, it requires you to work with your team" and that is true however, if you have played SoloQ for a long time, you will notice that this kind of gameplay is just the worst kind you can have for a game where you play with unknown teammates. This is because you don't know them and somehow, you have to depend on that they won't make mistakes which if they do, will lose you the game.
Currently, the game feels like every role has a special assignment which they have to fullfill: Jungle needs to gain control of the tempo, ADC are gonna be the main damage dealers, Support will defend the ADC as much as they can, Mid and Top are backup roles where Mid's purpose is to roam and affect other lanes while Top serves as the primary frontline. If one of those people fails to fullfill their assignments, your team loses.
I don't know if this was another reason to give more "quality" to professional games but I have a feeling that it is just unnessessary because pros are already coordinated, communicative and can work together with each other thanks to the time that they put together to make the team better as a whole. Meanwhile, this type of gameplay hurts SoloQ as a whole since the games are now decided on how good the team is instead of being how good the player is. The decision of which team you get is decided by matchmaking, you can't control which teammates you can get, but they can easily cost you games.
I think that overall, the game shouldn't be decided on how well the team you get is and that they all can fulfill their assignments. IMO, everyone should have the chance to fulfill those assignments, not just the specific roles. Basicly, you should get the chance to take over for your teammates incase they fail. At the same time, there should be scenarios where you need your team to succeed. These things are f.e. Big Objectives(Drake/Baron/Herald) where you can't depend on yourself to be able to kill important objectives, someone needs to tanks, someone needs to deal damage, someone needs to defend versus enemy team etc. Late Game where everyone has their full item build and max level and games are decided by team composition and teamwork.
TL;DR Make the game a bit more the individual players (Makes games more fulfilling for players who has the chance to carry games) with scenarios where you need your team in order to succeed.
