Anyone Taking Bets?
On how long it will be until Morde's Q numbers get nerfed? Yes, you need to be standing next to him while he ramps it up, yes it's incredibly slow and short ranged, but Riot won't want a champion who can literally one-shot squishies. Not when that champ can charge up two swings on his Q and then flash 100-0 a mobile assassin or ADC and stop their LC$BIGPLAY$. And since he can't make LC$BIGPLAY$ himself, there's no reason to let that stay.
I'm thinking two patches, just in time for World's. Anyone else think differently?
And I'm not calling for Morde to be nerfed, I'm thinking this is another Cassiopeia situation where they've loaded too much on a single ability and will be nerfing that ability. Up to rito to make it happen or not.
Edit: Honesty time. I really do think that Mordekaiser will get nerfed within the next two patches, that the nerfs will be aimed at his Q, and that he will almost certainly end up dumpstered for one reason or another for another rework to pick up the pieces. I don't think his Q is overpowered, but there will eventually be some player outcry simply due to the big numbers involved. The idea that Riot wouldn't want their squishies being blown up was a joke aimed at the recent changes that seem to be aimed at promoting another League of Assassins.
