How do I manage to get teams that are just impossible to win with every game? I don't understand this match making. I'm not claiming to be great at the game, but I know what to do and what not to do. I'm atleast plat material, because I was at high platinum mmr and winning perfectly fine, but then the matchmaking gods decided to say "fuck you".

Not to go on the offense here, but lane's merely 9-12 minutes minimum of game time in comparison to what usually surmises to be a 20-40+ min game, depending on how both team's fair. Granted, I suffered a similar issue my last game, but I can only do so much as a support, but I also digress.
StoryDuck2 votesIf you find yourself winning lane consistently but losing game then the fault will often be with you. You have the gold to carry your game. Brush up on how to use your strength to push objectives and pressure other lanes. A common mistake for silver/gold players (and a bit in plat too) is that they win lane but just stay in lane and don't have a large impact on other lanes or push for objectives. If your bot lane is going 2/20 then why were you not going bot to help them get out of lane and into team fight earlier when you have control of your lane? If you just keep watching them getting dived and killed then you need to do something to get them out of that situation, even if its something simple like placing some wards for them because enemy jungle camping them hard or just occasional roams bot to keep enemy team scared when they don't see you.

.... umm no its not... thats bullshit... its not your job to win EVERY lane... your teammates have to be able to not FEED.. they dont need to WIN lane... but they just have to not DIE.
also.. there are PLENTY of champs where to do what you suggest is flat out impossible...
not every champ can 1v5..
for example i main nidalee .. even if im 20/0/13 if the enemy team groups as 3 or more... i CAN'T go in after a spear lands...
i would just instantly die... regardless of gold or items..
StoryDuck1 votesIf you can't accept the fact that you can exert pressure and help a lane out before (not after) they go "2/20" (your quote) then you will not improve. You assume this means you need to get a kill but that isn't what you need to do (although that certainly helps). I am talking about before lanes get snowballed out of control when you are winning lane it means you have control of when to roam or help others. This is a team game and you are part of the team. If you are winning lane that means you have the gold and power to exert change more then others. You should NEVER expect the losing lane to be making plays or dig themselves out after losing lane (why would you even think this?). It's up to other players to help them out.
