Could you please add "Ally damage mitigated" to post-game stats?

I know there was a total shielding value stat at one point (it's gone now), but there were a couple of problems with that that made it a less useful metric: Counted shielding provided, not actual damage that was blocked by shields. (Would display a higher value for players who needlessly shielded a carry that didn't take hits.) And, Didn't count damage mitigated by stats from shielding abilities. (Ori and Taric would like the full value of their shielding ability counted, thank you very much.)

So can we please have "Ally damage mitigated" tracked instead? The support mains would love you for this.

I would love this. Everyone always talks about damage, but not everyone is a damage dealer. At least tanks can see how much damage they mitigated to reference. Mages have damage and cc score. What do enchanters have? Vision score? CC score? Enchanters tend to be more about mitigating damage on allies and buffing allies, but there is nothing to show that. Like you said there used to be ally shielding, but it wasn't the most reliable. I want to be able to see how useful I was to the team when playing enchanters as much as tanks can see if they were useful despite not being the damage dealers.

He's talking about damage that would've hurt your ally was instead absorbed by your shield.

I agree with you homie.

Yes. So I can know how much true damage my teammates did to my nerves and patience.
