Pulling a 43% wr in the top lane, and rarely played in the mid lane. As a Jayce main, the problem im seeing with him in the top lane is 
, champions take that top lane and Jayce becomes just totally useless. All the poke he does is nonexistent due to this item.

Nobody but mains and the #LCSBigPlays crowd want to see Jayce good again. A champ with six spells is inherently unbalance-able, same with champs like Elise. Riot's solution seems to be to let champs like this be good for a period of time each season so the mains don't get all uppity and then render them F tier.
Ah yes, because its so fun being a melee and having half of your hp gone with one E+Q. It's so fun not being able to farm because he just abuses you from range. It's so fun not being able to win a melee duel because of his high base dmg and his E.
In my Opinion the only real way to beat Jayce in a GAME (NOT LANE), is to pick literally every Meta Toplaner atm, because everyone outscales him. Jayce is a early to mid Champ. In Late he is like a Champion who is called Banshees. Eat Spells, being useless. Lets look at some Toplane-Carries. Fiora outscales jayce and maybe even kill him in lane. Camille outscales anyone anyway. Yasuo outscales him. Gp maybe not, depends on how he plays. Gnar dont Outscales him. Jax is good against him even in lane. I think you just need to ping your Jungler as one of these Champs, to get you just a bit ahead in lane. When you can shove literally every wave away from him, he will be useless. he cant Roam, he can just sit there and do PvE. And he doesnt Scales, like i said. When youre playing such aggressive as you maybe do, he will beat you out of lane. And Tanks pretty much are outscaling anyone, because they are good in late, and i repeat, jayceis bad in late. Trust hashinshin. he is right. Tanks are op lol. I think that Jayce is a better pick midlane, and most jayce mains do think that aswell.
