Why Cant You Punish Players Who Decide To Not Listen?

-You ping, you say in chat, warning the top laner of the enemy jungler coming. You spam ping the living hell up there to tell him the enemy jungler is there. The top laner ignores the pings, gets ganked, dies. -The top laner then decides to overextend, you ping for him to get back, he gets 1v3 ganked, he dies again. -You tell the top laner to play safe and stop engaging, they want to 1v1 all in the enemy 2 lvls above him with 1.5k gold than them, then dies. -You tell bot lane to ward because theyre both sitting on 2 vision score 15 minutes into the game, bot lane refuses to, then dies to the enemy jungler gank.

Why is it you can punish those who say "stop dying and play safe", but you cant punish those who intentionally lose the game for everyone else. Look at my previous games, I try my hardest to win, I try to tell people to just ward and play safe but they dont listen and just throw. This game is 100% team game based now, and refusing to communicate is so annoying because it pretty much guarentees a loss.

Im not saying punish them with a chat ban, just put them in lower priority queue or something. Somewhere where everyone can goof off and not give two shits about winning for 5 games.

The punishment for contributing less to a team's chance of winning than the average player from the pool that you're currently in, is losing games more often.

When someone loses games more often, their MMR gets reduced.

People with low MMR are placed in games with other people who have low MMR.

If you contribute more to a team's chance of winning than the average player from the pool that you're currently in, you will win more games.

When you win more games, your MMR will rise.

With a higher MMR, you will be placed in games with other people who have higher MMR.

If you placed a diamond 5 player in bronze, they'd win more often than they lose because they contribute more to a team than the average bronze player.

If you placed a diamond 5 player on stage in World's, they'd lose more often than they win because they contribute less to a team than the average professional player.

With that as a given, some introspection could be useful. If the players that are matched with you have obvious flaws, perhaps you too have an obvious flaw, or several minor flaws that work together to hinder you.

Improving yourself is much easier than improving your teammates. You are in contact with yourself for much more time than a single match. It's also more rewarding, as improving other people doesn't generally benefit you personally and learning how to improve yourself in a single instance can be applied to many other areas in your life down the road.

Even if your framing of this is right, who says you deserve to be listened to?

Ever heard of the "boy who cried wolf"

Over pinging is an issue

refusing the communicate is a bannable reason, but with Riots choice to add /mute all, it should be removed. people are allowed the freedom to play however and whatever they feel like, if he is not intentionally ruining your game, you can't report him.

P.S: he might have muted you.

There are some champions that function only by overextending.Singed

Maybe ping earlier and give your team an earlier warning and spam pinging can actually be more distracting than it is helpful ping once or twice at the most.

You are the same mmr as said earlier so focus on ur own gameplay instead of blaming others for your loses and instead saying the obvious to a player that is close to tilting.

try help him with a roam or something telling someone to play safe sucks if ur alone vs someone who is ahead getting tower dived and ganked constantly and getting told stay safe and flamed does nothing to help the cause

I want you to take a deep breath and think why this would both be impossible to properly implement and how poorly it would end up if implemented.

Because I don't trust your sense of tactics. There are times that I'll overextend knowing that I will die. CS > Everything at some points of the game.

If I'm say, 0/5, I'm just going to focus on CS regardless of the risk, and nothing you say will change my mindset.

It doesn't always mean they ignoring you, they may have been tunnel visioning during the time. Also, you don't get punished for saying "stop dying and play safe" for I've been saying that since 2009 with the same and only account and I've never been even warned. But no, they can't be punished for not being aware or not listening to you.
