After each day, the total number of games is veiwed for each champ (that's possible, right?). The champs that have playrates that make them the top 3-10 is then then perma banned for the following few days on URF.
This allows you to choose who you want (out of those not permabanned), but removes the staleness that comes from seeing the same op champs each day.

Gets rid of the worst champs, gives some choice but also stops the whole must pick champs in every game thing.

I don't personally think Shen, Singed, Trundle, Katarina, Malz, Vlad, Zed, Brand, Mundo, Garen, Cassi, Blitz are even that bad at all.
Meanwhile both lists somehow missed Wukong who is completely impossible to deal with unless you have the right tools in your kit (I watched a Wukong 100-0 a Nexus with four people unable to stop the perma-invis clone spam).

they have permanently disabled about 20 champions the 1st time urf came around after a couple of days so it doesn't appear to be too hard.

Edge of Daybreak1 votesThat system doesnt make much sense though. You ban the top op and then the next best reign until they are banned. you would essentially just have a constantly decreasing pool and as players favorite champs are banned they would have less reason to play it.

Mogarl1 votesOr do an Urf leagues, group the disgustingly powerful with the disgustingly powerful, the strong with the strong, and the mediocre with the mediocre. Shift champions up and down leagues until most of them are reasonable. If this would split the urf player base too far for a healthy que; Riot can put the different leagues up on different weekends. Now instead of having one game-mode with 20 overused champions you have 3 game-modes with 60 overused champions.
If it worked out well Riot could just split all the champions up into leagues of 25-30.

Every Pokémon falls into one of these tiers depending on how powerful they are. Each tier up can be mixed with the ones below it. For example, you can play a RU Pokémon in Ubers but not an Uber in RU.
