How does DFT interact with Teemo mushrooms? Does it proc the AOE or DOT duration?

If the damage is counted as DoT, then the total damage it adds to a mushroom is 10 + 31.25% AP + 75% bonus AD. Comparing this (only AP ratio + base damage) to Thunderlord's Decree, which is at max, 180 + 10% AP, the AP you need for a mushroom to do more single target damage to an enemy with DFT must be greater than 800 AP, at which, each one will be doing 260 damage. DFT has no CD however. 5-3 DFT durations can go off with Shrooms before Thunderlord's Decree CD comes back down. But tbh, DFT just doesn't seem worth it, unless you just want to melt teams with your mushrooms later into the game.

Is TLD better than DFT on Teemo?

Let me answer your questions one at a time:

Yes, Liandries is procced on shrooms, in fact, they're procced for 4% of enemy's max HP because the shrooms slow, counting as CC for the "Double damage bonus" in the description.

Yes, Teemo's shrooms and blind apply DFT.

As for being better than TLD, It depends on what your plan is. I think TLD is best for early game harassment, DFT being a late game mastery. So depends if you want to do damages NOW or damages LATER.

On the other hand, champions like Eve and Cassiopeia get so much more sustained damage over time from this mastery than Thunderlords.

Mushrooms indeed still proc Liandry's.

DFT procs DOT duration.

TLD is usually better. Toxic Shot doesn't proc DFT - for whatever Rito reason - and your shrooms, while interact neatly with it, are just too easily denied for shroom-oriented builds to be viable.

That being said,_ FoB is even better than TLD_, unless your enemies are mostly on the squishy side, and you are in an easy matchup.

first, are you trying to proc TLD on a single mushroom?

second, TLD has a cooldown and DFT does not

which is better is a matter of opinion, i prefer DFT on teemo but TLD usually on most champs
