They will complain about Irelia becuase she got Triforce which is her biggest power spike and then killed the enemy ADC or some other champ.
Iti s like she is a solid duelist and has reasonable **SINGLE TARGET ** CC or something.
people think she's oppressive as fuck with low room for counterplay. Seems nerf worthy in my book.
ADC mains think she is broken. If supports knew how to peel it wouldn't be that bad.

knock ups, silences, suppression, knock backs. have you never played janna or alistar or cho or any other of the numerous champs with those abilities or something?
I don't know. I don't know if she is actually op. I just haven't found yet one Champion that I play that can lane against her. I have lost every time I have played against an Irelia. That doesn't mean she is op. Maybe I just don't know how to play against her. But for me it is an impossible match no matter what I do. So I would be happy to see her nerfed. But for selfish reasons.
Irelia is fine, simple as that.
I wouldn't say OP, but she's very strong (like top 20 champs) and she's very binary. If she can kill you, she will. The main problem imo is that the only counter to a deep diving tanky bruiser with massive DPS is CC but she actually gets tenacity as a passive to counter her only natural counter. The other counter would be burst, but she's too tanky to be bursted. This means that when Irelia snowballs, there's no stopping it. There are other champs that have uncontrollable snowball potential, but their early game is weaker than Irelia's.
She's not the first champ on my "plz nerf" list, but I certainly wouldn't mind a love tap (especially on that tenacity).
