I feel Riot's new survey will not bring truly accurate conclusions: here is why.

Many of you may have noticed, a simple survey will ask one question:

Do you think Solo/Duo makes ranking games more fulfilling. (along those words)

I think that question is slightly loaded. People will have different reasons to Solo/Duo/Trio etc.. (some people just want to be with friends and some people want to have better chances to win) hence making the question open to interpretation and potentially innacurate. But if we take the question for what it is. I disagreed that its more fulfilling for me. I mean that i actually agree that solo and duos are much better for the ranking system and sort of more fulfilling but i think trios are fine. So how do I--or anyone--answer the question to truly reflect my(their) opinion on the matter when the question categorized this complex issue in two camps?

Just my two cents.

Lets not forget the fact that the majority of the LoL population DOES NOT know the difference between new champ select and dynamic queue, which means that any phrasing of "Dynamic Queue" will be inaccurate.

Just since a post I saw a while ago I'm pretty sure the survey actually said dynamic queue

All of Riot's surveys are loaded and designed to coax out a majority response to a conclusion that they (Riot) have already decided upon.

For me this game is over currently. Sick of it. Either i get a RANKED Q with NO premades at all. Everyone solo everyone on the same page or the game is dead to me. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of feeling like playing with silvers when i'm high plat. I'm sick of playing with goldies because it is okay to Q up with someone an entire tier lower. And all the other shit repeatedly stated over the last few months. Either i read the news: pure soloQ comes back or i'm done with this game. So far even if it's hard for me i try to not even play aram or normals. Just quit. Gonna try some other games. This shitfest called DynQ together with this awful jungle/adc meta+removal of vision just made me angry every fuckin game. Every fuckin game my bloodpressure is 180. Last time i felt that was season 4, equally bad season in terms of balance/meta. But now together with this shitfest called DynQ it's unbearable for me to keep playing. Goodbye. Maybe we'll see each other next season.

Edit: Btw, what we were promised and what we asked for were a PURE SOLOQ. ONLY SOLOS; NOT A SINGLE PREMADE. And now threads like yours appears with: oh well trios are okay. ???????? The community who actually cares about LoL complained since the beginning of this fuckin game about premades. Infamous duo bot. And now we say: yeah trios are okay. wat??????? SoloQ means SOLOQ. Which has been promised this season, which we were asking for years and for the last few months. So i don't understand this step back: yeah trios are okay.

The problem is that with a qualitative analysis that takes into account a person's opinion, it is a lot more time consuming and a lot harder to interpret the data. I could list all the reasons that I hate Dynamic Queue, but when you have to interpret that data for a million people, it is hard to do so.

I think an easier option would be... Do you prefer to play ranked alone or in a group of 2 or more? A) Alone B) In a group

I wish i got that survey.......i cant wait to get a chance to express my thoughts when i know it will be read and not ignored like these forums.

I literally put a support ticket in about a month ago giving in detail 2 games I was paired with a premade group of trolls (gauranteed trolls, showed no signs of wanting to win and did everything they could to cause me the only solo player on the team, to lose.........from banning the champ i had shown to use to sitting at fountain not defending the base, with the Malphite spamming his "you will lose taunt".)

The response i got from Riot was them telling me how they dont have time to respond to all the tickets they get.

Which was absoilute BS because if you have time to tell me you dont have time to get to all the tickets....why not just handle my ticket right then while you are on it telling me you dont have time??????

Isn't stating "solo/duo" loading the question in favor of solos/duos more, though? Like, if anything, the question's loaded in favor of solos/duos atm...

I wouldn't know. Riot sent me a survey, asking me to "MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD" and the survey ended at the first page. "How old are you, highest level?" Etc. And, if you look at my Icon, you'll be able to see I've been here for quite some time.

So yeah, it won't be accurate. They pick and choose the results THEY want.

And guess what?

Riot does not care.

You're honestly reading into the question too much. From my understanding the survey is to get some decent numbers on how many people really want soloque. I wouldn't be surprised if they post an info graph in the coming weeks.
