Any new info on runes reforged?

I don't remember every detail of the announcement. It would be cool if prior to the runes change that tier 3 runes went on an IP sale similar to tiers 1 and 2. I would definitely be interested in experimenting with different runes before the are majorly changed! I am hesitant now to get some because quintessences are expensive and so are some others and I would like to save IP for champions, much more so now that they will be going away come preseason and I don't want to waste the IP.

They are refunding every cost you spend on runes starting with an earlier date. Basically, you can spend anything you want now and you'll be refunded later. So if you have plenty of IP to spend on runes now, you can. If you're still low on IP, grind!

Any runes bought from May 30th 2017 till the release in November will be refunded. They also plan to reduce the price of Tier 3 runes sometime fairly soon as well.
