In the coming weeks all I ask of Riot is to listen.

I've been playing for about two years now and this is the first time where I've seen genuine outrage towards changes, and I think the outrage is 100% justified. Never have I seen such a large part of the community voice their opinions on changes.

I'm going to be honest, the last few days have been absolutely garbage for me. I've had no fun with the game whatsoever. Every game is just a fuckfest where everyone runs around seeing who can one shot each other first. Even the games I win I get little to no satisfaction out of it, I'm just not having fun. Never have I seen so many kills/deaths in games before, it feels so hard to just fucking live in these matches.

Almost every game has been a completely one-sided stomp, because runes have so much game impact now that whenever you get a slight lead you can just dumpster your opponents with almost a 0% chance of them coming back.

I just want to know what justified the massive changes? Was it to create a more "flashy" play-style? Is this honestly where they want the game to go when moving forward in the future? If so, count me out.

All I'm asking of Riot is to just listen, please. Listen to your community on everything from Blue Essence to the garbage gameplay state.

lolwut? This community is basically outraged at every chance. DynQ? Plants? Assassins Rework? You pick it.

and I think the outrage is 100% justified.

No it's not. Not anymore than all the previous times.

I just want to know what justified the massive changes?

I mean, Riot basically explained it times and again for the past 6 months, but TL;DR: old Runes and Masteries were awful, not really meaningful (easy to optimize, no real choice), and boring, plus Runes specifically were gated behind a grind-y system, which made it hard for new players to enter into the game and to compete on equal footings with veterans.

I mean, I don't wanna protect Riot, as I strongly disagree with a lot of changes they do these past few years. But on one side I am really glad there is finally a meta of aggressive early game. I can't remember the last time it was worth to pick something like draven + zyra and go aggressive as hell. Now, finally, it's back.
