Camille Is Not A Fighter, She's A Juggernaut

After seeing some games with Camille I have come to the conclusion that Riot has NO CLUE how to balance the fighter class. They made an unkillable tank that you cannot escape from. If I recall that was their problem with Ekko and now even the boy who shattered time is basically useless thanks to the nerfs he recieved. Camille can't even be peeled because her damage output is so high that she destroys whatever she's chasing.

With Riot eyeing the Fighter class for potential reworks let's hope they find a way to balance them in a way that actually is fair to play with/against. However based on how few Fighters are actually viable in the current landscape of the game, I find it highly unlikely they will find a way to resolve some of these issues.

I highly recommend perma banning this bitch until nerfs hit the live servers.

Camille Is Not A Fighter, She's A Juggernaut

  • Has multiple gap closers
  • Is mobile in general
  • Lacks the tankiness , sustain and massive damage of a juggernaut

/boggle Who could look at these things and say ; JUGGERNAUT

LeeSin and RekSai maybe.

Camille is a diver which is the same class as Vi, Jax, Riven, Irelia and a few others who are fairly high in the mobility department and none of them are juggernauts which is a class with really low mobility.

Riven and Jax are skirmishers/melee carries as defined by Riot, but yeah Camille is a diver.

but how does that make her a juggernaut? juggernauts are the healthiest subgroup of fighters; Camille fits none of the classifications to be one, either.

No he isn't, his winrate has jumped back up to 50%. He is very balanced now that unnecessary power has been stripped of his kit. Riot needs to do these sorts of things before the champion comes to live servers, though; they need to take a hard look at their final concept and ask themselves "Do we really need this champion to have 80% attack speed for landing her stun?"

Good luck with that.

The problem is, PBE isn't a representative sample of the game at large. If Riot tried to balance around the PBE, I would have no idea what state those champs would end up in. (A lot of the PBE testers, may be fooling around, or testing varying aspects of said champions, without much consideration of their competitive state.)

Also, Riot probably wants to Overshoot rather than Undershoot, if they had to chose between the two. If Champion X is weak, it might be difficult to figure out why they are weak, or in what way to buff them. However, if Champion X was on the strong side, their is usually a indicator of where said champions power is inappropriate.

if shes a juggernaut shes the squishiest juggernaut ive ever seen.

She's a lot like Vi and Fiora combined

she has the chase power and lockdown of vi, while having the damage of fiora, she dives, and she dives hard

no sustain like juggernauts usually have in one way or another, no aoe, no nothing outside of damage and some situational cc that isn't utility style cc minus her ult all of her damage is single target.

actually, she reminds me a lot of kled in that sense too. but hes not a juggernaut now either, is he.

Her W has a heal on anything hit by its outer curve (hard cap on heals from non-champs IIRC). Plus a Spirit Visage and she'll be laughing at 'no sustain.' She also has decent synergy with Death's Dance.

Packun Flower1 votes

Her HP, armor and MR growth is unusally high. Shes basically a tank with assassin tier damage and jungler mobility.

Something needs to be retuned on her because right now its not just a problem, its an identity crises.

Every game Iv'e been a part of with her, she hasn't been squishy. She's been quite the opposite. Perhaps I'm just unlucky.

Uhh...Fighters aren't fucking squishy.

This^^ the old umbrella term for fighters basically got split into 2 camps (which can be split into 4 camps)

FIGHTERS are the more durable of the melee DPS class in league, they can be split into juggernauts (darius, garen, illaoi) who are immobile but tankier and divers (vi, xin zhao, jarvan iv) who are less tanky then juggernauts but still tanky and have more upfront burst (and rarely any escape)

SLAYERS are the squishier fighters who are not tanky (or shouldnt be) and have unrivaled mobility. These can be split into skirmishers (yasuo, riven, fiora) who have good in combat mobility and target selection. And assassins (zed kha'zix) who have better mobility/escape and higher burst but are only really proficient at killing backline threats

I agree. She is completely retarded to play against. She outduels like 90% of the roster, while also having Riven tier mobility.

She has a juggernaut's durability, a fighter's dueling potential, and an assassin's mobility. There's literally no reason to play any other bruiser over her currently.

Ok sure but why1 votes

riot loves juggernauts
