Regardless of what mode I play, there are times when my loading screen gets to 100% then freezes. Alt tabbing won't remove the load screen from my desktop, the only way to fix it is to ctrl+alt+del, select task manager, press my windows key to bring up my taskbar, set the task manager to always be on top, end the league of legends task and reopen the client.
Before you guys made updates to the screens for mac users, I never had this problem.
I'm on Windows 10 and I'm having the same issue. The loading screen shows 100% and the game never starts... only to have a leaverbuster of 20min. for 5 games. It has occurred on 2 occasions. :'( [slayer-jinx-unamused]
I've been having this problem for months now. How is it still not fucking fixed. It tilts me so hard that i dont even bother to reconnect.
Im having the same issue, locks my entire computer up. Thanks for the tip of setting taskbar always on top. It happens very sporadically but it extremely annoying, happened twice today out of maybe 20 games got leaver bustered.

ive had the same problem ever since the mac update, looking for a way to fix it aswell
happend to me 2 times today made me demote. Nothing helps only restarting pc and that takes to long it inpacts me but also the player I play with so plz give us a way to fix this
This has been happening to me as well. Just locked the screen at 100%, couldn't alt+tab or alt+4 had to restart my computer only for the game to be over. Super fucking frustrating and a giant waste of mine and 9 others' time.

Loads to 100% then in competitive and then just freeze. i don't understand Chinese logic no voice comps in comp and no pause in comp in case something like this happens. How can Tencent be this smart and r%%%%%ed at the same time. its almost paradoxical
Same thing happens to me and I have seen it happen to streamers.
windows 10, happened to me twice, and a third time with a teammate. suffice to say I lost all 3 games because of this. [zombie-brand-clap]

I'm really struggling with this issue. Every second game freezes on loading screen when it reaches 100%. I see the circle around the ping freeze then I know I need to ctrl + altd + del and sign out and sign in again then load the game. Very frustrating. I tried a repair but it did not fix the issue.... Windows 10.

This happens every so often to me too. I think it's caused by alt + tabbing out during loading screen. alt + f4 doesn't close out of the client and neither does control + alt + delete. The only way I can ever fix it is by signing out on my computer and then relogging but by the time that all works it's past the 3 minute mark in game and I just lose LP. Fix your trash client Riot, it's like with each new update you guys just fuck up the client more and more. The client also takes even longer to login to it than ever before. Seriously your balance team and coding team need a rework cause you guys just have no idea what the fuck you are doing. Skin + Art team is really great though 10/10.
i still have this problem. and remakes are just a waste of time. cause then i gotta load backk into the client and que up for another match. what bugs me the most is people leaving in mid match. even if we are winning! turning the match against us and loosing my promos. but if someone dc'd during worlds or pro match its a complete remake! give us our lp back or people who didnt DC please!
This shit is aids to deal with as well because once it freezes you can't alt-tab out you also can't close league, it isn't responding the only way to fix is to restart your P.C but at the point the game is over.
Yup this is happening to me as well (Windows 10) it will freeze on the loading screen and the only way for me to get it back is to force a restart. Just happened to me a few mins ago and by the time I got back into the game they had surrendered. I got a message saying "You are ineligible to earn loot due to leaving or AFK behaviors." and I took a pretty big LP loss.
It's pretty BS that I am getting punished for issues out of my control. I have a great computer, the issue is definitely with in the client and not on my end. So not I lose my Loot and LP because of things on Riot's end.
This happens almost daily, normally I can get the client restarted fast enough I am in game by minion spawn. I do ALT+TAB out often, but in the 5 or 6 years I have been playing League that has never been an issue for me (I have three monitors).
It's frustrating that this is 3 month old post and nothing has been done about it when it's clearly happening to a lot of people.

Having the exact same issue on Windows 10 (I'm not sure if using windows has a correlation with the issue but putting that out there just incase). Loads to 100%, then the screen freezes. CTRL+ALT+DEL into task manager opens the task manager but that doesn't accomplish much since I can't tab out of the game to force close it. The only way to get back into game is to restart my pc and by the time I start the game I'm already a couple minutes behind everyone else and get blamed by my team for something that I have no control over. This has happened sever times throughout all game modes, draft, TFT, urf, aram, everything. One thing to note is that it doesn't happen all the time but once it happens 1 time, it tends to happen a couple more time following the 1st incident and then it randomly stops again and the issue comes back later and the cycle continues.
I never post anything on these discussion boards about any issues (or anything on the internet in general) since most of them are minor and I just kind of deal with them even though they are super irritating, but this issue is too major to not say anything about. It's really dum that I get put into deficit that I have to endure for the rest of the game because of how punishing the game is and have to deal with the inevitable flame when we lose and it's all my fault. And I agree it is because of me we lose since I wasn't there from the beginning, but it's not under my control.
Sorry this is so lengthy, I'm just frustrated with this issue just like everyone else on this discussion board. I just want to know if this is something that's being looked at and worked on. Thanks riot incase someone is already working on this, I just wanna play the game and get a fair shot at winning.
