They lost in vision control, faker cass should have been able to get a solid lead over malz, bang threw multiple times, pick/ban phase wasnt great (banning zac over j4, leaving xayah, etc), and bad formation in the most crucial teammates. Not to forget faker getting caught out by varus flash/ult.
Malz contributed mostly using his ult on the right opponents at the right time, and his team reacted promptly. Not much else.
