Toxicity is sometimes acceptable

As politically incorrect as this might sound...

sometimes toxicity is justified

sometimes, players on a team are just so bad/borderline int that it actually makes 100% sense to be toxic in response to that; they need to be told how bad they are and you need to let off some steam

I think Riot should recognise a special extenuating circumstance where specific instances of toxicity can be pardoned... because let's be real here, sometimes, some players need a bit of toxicity

if someone like a Tyler1 is running it down Mid because he didn't get his role or an ADC is literally walking back into lane every time to 1 vs 2 when behind and gives kill after kill...

why shouldn't we yell at these players?

Why not?

Tell me, will you telling them that they are bad change how they play for the better? What you being "toxic" to anyone accomplishes other than to fuel your ego?

Toxicity is only acceptable if there is a limit on how often it happens. People here either want everyone to get banned for a single game or be allowed to do and say whatever they please. Both are wrong. I don't care if you're midlaner is 0/9/0 it's not ok to constantly harass that person or to want him banned because he isn't playing to your standards. People have bad games. Learn to use your words and to know when enough is enough

Not really, you are just a douchebag.

Is this ironic on purpose or did you just unknowingly prove him to be correct?

LOL! I'm on my 8th chat ban for such shenanigans.

This time it was from just ONE game. I was expected to support an ADC Teemo who INSISTED that sitting invisible, watching me die in lane, missing farm, letting objectives get taken, watching allies die defending towers while he ran away, and only helping the team when he could flash in and clean up kills was just "playing Teemo"; and YES this was ranked... and of coarse... He was playing with a duo partner who defended him unflinchingly by citing KDA...

So... This guy DID end up with highest champ damage, because he spent the entirety of the game past 15 mins laying shrooms in lanes... but they didn't help actually Do anything useful!; They just slowed down the inevitable... So IMO this sort of behavior is WAY more toxic then any amount of chatting! And I've mentioned this to Riot representatives many times. THIS is what will eventually kill the game if it goes unchecked! Do new players want to put up with this? unlikely... Are veteran players getting fed up with this "one player being a goon can ruin your game meta" ? According to these boards? Very much so.

If someone wants to ruin a game people can't walk away from? they should lose their right to complain that someone was mean to them about it...

Because it was just a bad game and the boards wont allow a civilized conversation about why toxicity is the least of you concerns.

If someone calls you a bad name mute them.

If someone afks your fucked that game but report them and theyll get a slap on the wrist.

If someone ints dont worry nothing will happen because it was just a bad game and everyone has those.~~~~

I miss older games when it was always acceptable because nobody referred to it as "toxicity". Back when people realized they were playing an online game and shouldn't care about what some random person says to them.

Unclear that two wrongs make a right.
