Honestly if you want to be tanky while dealing damage, Diana is the way to go. At least this is my opinion.

for what? diana is better as a jungler zed as a mid assassin twisted fate as a ranged mid "adc/mage"

uhhh I'm sure you can make an argument for tf being one of the best soloq picks out there atm, especially in higher elos good pick potential, roams, decent teamfight presence and ap threat, waveclear, splitpush with/without tp, strong cc amongst others...

But in the assassin meta? Not really. I see him being eaten alive more than not, even with mages. I rarely see any good TF (I'm a smurf so don't comment about my level).

assassin 'meta' was patches ago (if such a thing even applies to soloq; also duskblade didnt bring back shit), id say its more tank meta than assassin atm, especially when you have naut mid and the likes. not sure what the meta is sub plat, but I can assure you unless you are an assassin main, (besides zed and maybe leblanc) they aren't in a good spot.

plus 'tank/bruiser' items like steraks titanic and maw are so broken you got bruiser zeds running bruiserish rather than full blown assassin zeds, and qss is more prevalent than ever

The only thing going against tf (and this applies to ap mages in general, including diana) are their items being so much more expensive besides abyssal - the price of zhonyas should say it all compared to maw. Maybe when the mage update gets going, that'll change.

Still, it's an assassin meta. Zed is a perma ban now because of how broken as shit he is (and duskblade has made an effect on making him even stronger. Don't try to argue unless you've seen him take a full tank Nasus's health down to over half).

Yea I see those bruiser Zeds and I hate it. I wish it was never even created in the first place.

And yea our AP items are way too expensive, but hopefully that will change in the future update. Also, Meddler says they are looking to tone down Hexdrinker/Maw in patch 6.7
