Will we be seeing any QoL changes for Urgot this season?

Three years I have played this game and three years I have mained Urgod. Every new season is the same for Urgot in that he falls behind. The new winds usually do not favour champions with unique play styles:

This isn't the first time I written something like this either because every season it is the same.

Urgot has received changes once in every season since season 4 when I started playing as makes sense (the whole not adapted well to new seasons). Now I wouldn't be talking about this if his rework was around the corner, but I believe there is substantial conjecture to believe it isn't.

  1. Riot and the community cannot come up with a consensus on what the hell Urgot should even be. Is he a long-ranged ad mage weapons platform or is he a relentless, tank (not the class but an actual tank) charging maddeningly into the fray? Is he both? I can't decide because I like both but am not sure if both can coexist. The last thing I have heard about his rework is we don't know.

  2. Riot's stance on reworks is that they are inclined to not have either of their two teams to do dark champion back to back which is good for many reasons. This means that after the team finishes Warwick, they will move on to a more positive champion. That means Urgot wouldn't get a VGU until after Galio but there is no guarantee there either.

  3. The polls have shown that Evelynn is more desired to be reworked.

I know there is a likelihood that people might come in and say "Urgod is op!" He can be strong yes, but so can almost any other champion if played correctly and in the right comp. Urgot really isn't that op as others will say. I remember in season 4, I was berated constantly by almost everyone when I played him. This didn't stop until mid season 5 when he was used once in professional play (and won). Since then everyone has done a 180 and say he is strong. I remember there were times when he felt really strong and this isn't one of them. I think I will make a secondary post regarding what could be changed and possible rework ideas (more philosophical than actual rework ideas if that makes any sense).

It's been implied that his "QoL" changes this season will be "VGU."
