I appreciate all the positive changes Riot has been making but
can we get item pages back? Besides the speed it allowed for item purchasing, it also allowed for me to espy certain off build items and remember them for niche situations.

Riot have said that it was on their list, but nothing too high, you have to wait a few month, at least March.

I've been playing Karma top recently (which is actually extremely viable and loads of fun, as I've discovered) and it's still annoying af to have to look up all my items for my build because the support item list is still what's recommended.
No, Riot, I do not want to start spellthiefs. I'd rather not have to look up 3 of my core items:

simply because you don't update your pages to match real and viable items for champions
Ohh wait, do you mean those item sets where you would make a build for a certain champion or something so it would be easier for you to purchase in game?

buying has become so tedious.....
Riot is given the OK for using third party applications for item sets. (The folders that contained them still exist) So it does take a bit more time but you can still get item sets into the game. Beyond that any perviously made item sets should still exist into the Alpha client. (They do for me.)
They have more or less implied they will be bringing it back eventually.
