I just hit plat 4 this season for the 1st time. I do ok in most of my games, still climbing, still learning the ways of highish elo. However, in norms i keep getting match against p2 to d4 adc and the wipe the floor with me. Im not giving up or anything i just would like to know how big the skill different is. Ima still climb i just need to play a bit more against them and get better, but yeah just curious.
Platinum 4 players at 0LP care as much as winning games as people in Silver 4 0LP, it's the same with any elo
Platinum 4 players tend to have around 1,000 games in the season and don't really care about trying to win if they get behind, there's no competitive spirit in these dullards
Once you hit Platinum 3, respective for every other elo you'll start finding the people who actually care about climbing
D4 0LP are notoriously known for gate-keeping because they will never ever demote because riot is too lenient with demoting, I am not exaggerating when I tell you you can comfortable lose around 10 games in a row at 0LP in a tier 4 and you will not demote if you have an average w/r
