Jhin Is Too Weak

I've played a lot of Jhin recently, 17 games so far and I noticed a reoccurring trend: he just really does not perform up to expectations and has no self sustainability when someone isn't helping him. Don't get me wrong, he is a very fun champion to play and certainly unique but I feel like falls very short in order to be called a Marksman and definitely falls short anywhere else.

Passive- This is ok except the reload time REALLY makes him a bad ADC so it should definitely be flat 1 seconds or scale down in some way to 1 second because 2 seconds is just too long.

Q- Perfect

W- This is good but the snare aspect is too unreliable for solo lane and too fidgety as an ADC for any 1v1 potential or when the support is gone.

E- These are perfect.

R- I feel like skill wise this ability is a good test but the bullet feels very inaccurate because the enemies not only get smaller but so do their visual hit zones. It should be a bit more forgiving in all honesty, bigger width of the bullet.

Overall his damage is too situational and inconsistent for him to fit the ADC role and definitely is a better mid than an ADC at the moment. Hopefully see some small buffs in the coming patch or I feel like he's going to be just another immobile mid that get's wrecked when you add the new assassin item and everything.

Not enough proof to show if he's good or bad. I have 21 games on him at the moment, 11 of which are loses.

This post needs some more bronze in it. Here's the only three matches I managed to get jhin (Without it being banned or first picked)

Just ignore the fact that the Varus is Currently silver 3 in that last match, and both sides were mostly s5 silver or gold. It's all bronze now anyway.

I'd say he's pretty balanced. Although I don't think he fits in the current meta. It's like playing a xerath that has to go in to auto attack. If they do any minor buffs and the meta changes to less gap closers, assassins, and engage it'll be obscenely strong. That's highly unlikely though.

He's really hard to cs on until you get to mid game or so and the ad ramps up.

That's the problem. Why do they release a champion when they KNOW it's going to be bad in the current meta, not to mention his current role. His damage is too inconsistent to be a good or average adc. Also 3 games of Bronze isn't really good enough evidence. I have played 21 games of Jhin, losing 12 of them to players from Silver to Diamond. That isn't good enough evidence either. If you go to the Lolking.net charts, you'll notice he has the lowest win rate out of every region out of every rank and has the worst performance out of any adc with an combination of support. That is good evidence.

He just came out.

There is no good evidence for how strong or weak he is. Tahm had a shitty win rate on release too.

There is truth in this post. Give it time for people to get really get used to him and stabilize builds.

21 games, 12 losses isn't that bad of a ratio it's about a 57% win rate.

He's not doing too badly considering the amount of time that people have been playing him. I mean it's better for champions to be released a little weak than be released brokenly strong. Not to mention a lot of champions were released in a op state or near op state but considered meh or bad at first (coughs Azir (Bugs hid it for a long while), Kalista (Till the runaan build popped up), Rek'Sai)

He will probably get a buff. But anything big will make him broke in a organized team comp (In theory he'd be good in a protect the kog maw setup).

The biggest problems I've noticed when I manage to get one in a game or when I get him in a game is the reload time is a bit too long, he's dependent on hitting late game, and the W is entirely too telegraphed and easy to dodge.

You are dumb... Jhin is in a really good spot right now. He has really clear strengths.... maybe you just dont know how to play him...

Being in a good spot isn't suppossed to be last place. Who told you last place or the lowest is the good spot? A lot of people say Jhin is terrible, not just me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDju_kmgkFY Is a good place to start. Redmercy pointed out everything wrong with the champion.
