As someone who LIKE Viktor's rework and a former main...there is one thing I kinda miss
CUSTOMIZATON
For the most part, I consider
's rework a success, even if it didn't do a thing to raise his play-rate. Actual Viktor players are enjoying the fact that his item is actually slot-efficient now, which was by far the greatest downfall of his pre-rework. That's way more that can be said than what you did to Cassiopeia.
However I say this as a person who exclusively upgraded a single Augment only...I miss the option of customization. While yes, in theory not much has changed, pre-rework only a single Augment was truly worthwhile for the most part, and now there's only one path to choose. Nothing much has changed in that regards.
However the idea of differently customized Viktor was a cool concept, part of me was hoping his rework would retain the customization of old while making all paths equally attractive an option (which was the failure of pre-rework Vik). imo, the biggest drawback to the new Viktor is that all Viktor's are the same in the end as far as his Passive is concerned.
No matter what you start with, no matter your path, you will all end up at the same point.
In this case this is closer to a nitpick than anything else, unlike, say...Cassiopeia's trainwreck, I consider Viktor an overall success.
I just miss the fact that you could get health, CDR, or mana regen from the old Passive if you wanted. Obviously there were balance issues, like how absolutely pointless the tiny bit of health the upgrade gave.
TL;DR - I say GJ to whoever handled his remake showing you can keep fans of the champion happy about his final state unlike a certain trainwreck. But I can not deny that I kinda miss an aspect that he lost, which is the individuality of his different Augments.
