You must either suck at aiming q off minions or you let her tumble them for free cause Lucian has a good advantage pre6 he can use to snowball off her. Though people need to stop thinking vayne is the same kind of bad early as kog where literally a sneeze sends him back to base lol. Weak early =/= free lane.

Tumble has a 6 second cooldown and 300 range, 30 mana in a mana pool of 232 - 340 Piercing Light has 9/8/7 second cooldown and 500 range, costing 50/55/60 mana in a mana pool of 299 - 426

Vayne should be able to at all times avoid Piercing Light by tumbling in any direction except directly backwards/forwards.

It's called this is why you don't gut a lane bullies range and then say they have a late game and remove the late game items that they used or made them less efficient.
