[PETITION] Atleast Level 2 champion mastery needed to play this champ in ranked

This will eliminate : 1- new champions in ranked 2- first time vs lvl 7 , okay maybe alot with disagree with me at this , but this is a common problem in lower elos , it is not fair when your top plays yorick for the first time vs someone who mains nasus , not really fair .

tbh I wouldbe ok with level 3. Some champs kind of overlap and experience with one type of champ can help you play others of the same type

A lot of the top elo players pick up things right on the spot. Like no practice needed because their mechanics are on point just by reading the description of the ability. So a lot of players would disagree with this, and definitely the pros because they practice new champion in ranked.

If anything level 2 mastery of champion needed in ranked, so the higher elo players just need to play new champions 2-3 times in normal and then we can play them in ranked. And for low elo, show them that they are bad at those champions and shouldnt play them in ranked because it will take them about 4-5 games to get to level 2 because they will feed with those champions.

And to be fair, I was a level 1 Naut and I beat a level 7 riven so. Levels doesnt really matter, skill does.

ik that high elos can play almost all champs but lower elos can't :/

thats why I'm saying atleast level 2 mastery, hopefully discourage players to play champions they dont know how to play because they suck with them in normal games. If they are a level 2 mastery from just feeding with the champion and still bring them into ranked, they are a troll.

#think about what your agreeing to

#Just blindly saying you agree without really thinking of the entire implication

what would happen

#People would be pissed they cant just take a champ into "ranked"... aka the only reason they play the game!!!

I could care less that people would be pissed about playing a champ they have no experience with in ranked. You have no idea how many times people have made it really difficult to won games because they picked champs that they don't know any of its match ups, don't know best item builds, and can't hit their skill shots....at all. I know exactly what I am agreeing too. You can still play champs in normals. Just stay out of ranked with champs you are not good with.

Yes u can say it is ... "unfair"... thats your opinion stick to it if u like, ..but is it not also "unfair" to make someone get a certain amount of gameplay with a champion before taking him to ranked...

#Lets say ( for an current example ) i study up on kleds abilities, i just got him, i kno i've played the game enough to pick up any champ and play them well enough... is it fair i have to play so many game befor i can play ranked ( the only real reason to play this game )

Yes it is fair. People love to think they are good with a champ with just reading up on it. You are only good with a champ if you practice with its skill shots and know all of its match ups in its lane. You get better with both by playing the champ and gaining experience with it. You automatically put yourself at a disadvantage when you play a champ with no experience. I don't think it's fair that people pick champs they are bad at because they don't have experience and make it 10 times harder to win your promos. That's unfair. You play ranked to win and normals for experience.

Fuck no. Sure, most of the time playing a champion that you don't touch in ages is bad. However there are match ups that you know you will counter extremely hard with a given champion. Being unnable to counter someone simply because you don't have a certain mastery level of the champion is a bad design choice. If you are confident that you can counter someone so hard that your lack of intimacy with the champion will not be a problem, it's your choice. You make that choice knowing full well that you might be facing a one trick pony, a main or just someone who's really good at that champion.

Tl;dr: Don't remove choices from players.

That's not the way it works. Picking a counter doesn't always mean insta win and you should know that. I main sona and I crap on inexperienced Leonas and threshes. They have the same mind set as you but they don't have the practice they need. That's the same concept with champ win rates. Just because the world has a 55% win rate with said champ...doesn't mean you will too. Doesn't work like that. Just pick champs you are with and you will win alot more.

Doesn't mean an insta win, but if you have enough game knowledge you should be able to win a lane if you hard counter someone, even if you lack experience with said champion.

Specially when using very linear champions, for example using a Pantheon to counter a Teemo. As long as it's not a Diamond Teemo versus a Bronze Pantheon, the Panth should easily win the lane.

This is not mandatory for every match up, but sometimes you NEED to hard counter someone and shut them down early.

I agree that it's not rock paper scisors, but sometimes a hard counter, even if played by someone with little experience in the champion, can win a lane.

Picking counters also doesn't mean insta win. Also I'm talking about bronze and silver...no one has game sense here. I'm sorry but there is literally nothing you can say that will change my mind about being ranked 5 with a champ before playing in ranked. The pros far out weight the cons. In bronze and silver anyways.

Umm? No, what if I am main ADC or Mid and I'm first pick? I have to suddendly have 2 level in every jungler for trading with my jungler?
